my dh came home with what looked like a love bite on the side of his neck, i did ask him what it was and he said it was a flea bite, i don't know what to think because our dog has been on holiday for the past 6 weeks. he has been going out a lot more than usual and he says it's just work drinks.

well it could be an innocent mark, you must have a feeling if he is lieing?

A flea bite looks like a little white lump surrounded by pink then changes into a little scab if scratched a love bite looks like a bruise.

Lol. Uhm, I assume this is a joke, but if not, honestly - do you even know how a flea bite looks? Or does this holiday club you're going to have giant fleas?

Actually, do you know how a love bite looks?

Maybe the (giant) flea was in love with your husband?

i have not suspected this though have asked him he says he is too tired with work to have an affair.

I am so old and dull I cant rememeber what a love bite looks like but am sure back in the day they did not look like flea bites.

Have you said to him where are the fleas coming from as the dog is on holiday? Do you know where he is when he is out all the time, not that he needs keeping on a leash but you should know roughly what he is doing especially if it is bothering you.

I've had both flea bites and love bites that is (not a trip to Barkelona) they are in no way similar!

What a big flea. That is what would worry me
Do you live near a large nuclear reactor or chemical plant?

Rofl @ twinset's "needs keeping on a leash"

Fleas (or their eggs) can live in the soft furnishings for months, but a flea bite doesn't look like a love bite. And you usually get flea bites round your ankles*.

*I will not disclose how I came about this experience knowledge.
