done 3 loads of washing, filled dishwasher, put it on then emptied it and put the dishes etc away.

I have fed, washed and dressed the baby, stripped and made up her cot.

I have wrapped half a dozen presents and put them away.

Ok.... normal day I hear you say

so why have I just found myself saying as I sat on the loo

"ah I'll just have a sit down for 5 minutes"

lol So far I've made DD's breakfast and that's it. She decided to have a rare lie-in.

I have made tea, looked after the kids for a couple of hours, aired the bedroom and sprayed Chanel around it to get rid of intoxicated halitosis from charming DH who went out last night, put a wash on and wrapped 2 presents, booked a hair appointment for ds1 and ds2. All on crutches. And this was the morning DH said, "Don't worry, I'll get up first and do everything". However he has now made me toast and 2 cups of tea so I can't be too hard on him

are you feeling hyper? so far i have been dragged (reluctanly) out of bed by ds2, made some toast and porridge for us both and been sat on MN

I have walked past the dishes and pile of washing twice and gave them evil looks, meh.

DH pointed out when I read out my post that he has made the tea and toast despite having a hangover. And I neglected to feed the children apparently.

You must have a very fast cycle on your washing machine, or you got up super early. 3 loads before 10 am is very impressive indeed!

haha!! i've done one load of washing, fed the kids their breakfast..... and given DH a cuddle when he left for work!!

I have fed and dressed kids, hung two loads of washing, phoned the vets, and waxed my legs! That is all that I am doing today

I am still in bed. So far I have eaten 2 weetabix and 2/3 of a Snickers. I am watching a rubbish film.

It's the sense of achievement that keeps me going, I think.

I have been up since silly o clock (5am) with a teething lo who promptly fell asleep just as I was coming to

I seem to have run out of steam now though, or the early start has caught up with me

To get 3 loads of washing done in my machine I would have to be up all night

Report
stillenacht · 13/12/2008 10:13

Got up at 5 with DS2 (aged 5)

Set up a thomas train layout (as he had destroyed it last night) for him and hid his little keyboards

Cleaned up smeared poo everywhere

Picked up Xmas tree and replaced all decorations after they were pulled to ground by said DS

Thrown away torn up magazines by said DS

Retrieved wrappers from chocolate tree decorations from said DS's mouth

Put on 2 loads of washing and hung them on airer

Washed up breakfast things

Now DH has got up and he has said i can go back to bed - DS2 screaming downsatirs (favourite pastime) and DS1 (9) crying because he put hamster in ball in the dining room and hamster has escaped.

Oh joy!

stillenacht · 13/12/2008 10:14

oh yeah DS2 has autism (as many know)

Blimey. I have some mornings like that, but definitely not this morning! We are all full of cold, only the baby is dressed!! There is weetabix all over the kitchen floor (DS, not me!), the house is a tip, and I don't want to get showered or dressed for fear of actually doing something useful.... Ugh.

normally i'd have done 2 loads of washing. made everyone hot breakfast of porridge or bacon, brushed floors. tidies breakfast mess, had shower and wrestled 2 toddlers into clothes.

however due to dd and ds being unwell and me too.

we have just come downstairs. all in pj's. i have given them some dry cereal with milk in a bottle to minimise mess so i dont have to clean up. and i am thinking i should put washing in tumble dryer before it starts to honk.

So far this morning I have...

...caught a baby!

Now back to the humdrum of a domestic rainy Saturday, and the cat has weed on the pile of clean washing.

Report
VirginBoffinMum · 13/12/2008 10:52

As in delivered a baby, spillage, or was it an Evil Knievil type exploit?

Report
Spillage21 · 13/12/2008 12:03

Gosh, the latter would be exciting, but it was the former (which is just as exciting).
