to find the Boden winter catalogue PATRONISING TO SCOTTISH PEOPLE

AAAAARGGHHHHH!!!

Just when you think that Boden can't get any more smug, patronising and self satisified they outdo themselves with an astonishing new low.

Oh look Arabella, here are this season's woolly jumpers, they're so warm you can even wear them in... Scotland!! In fact, the quality is so good you can even allow your children outdoors in this barren yet beautiful land which God created for SMUG SOUTHERN CNUTS to twat around in at their leisure, because the locals are of interest as 'craggy scenery only'!!!!!

I fucking hate these people. I bet they don't even refer to place names in Scotland, they just airily refer to 'Scotland' as it it was a fucking village.

We are not a theatre set for your overpriced bland 'faux Highland' knitwear, we are a diverse nation with inhabitants who actually wear NICE CLOTHES THEMSELVES as opposed to just standing gurning 'Scottishly' next to your sickeningly smug models.

Take your fucking 'antler twigs' and FUCK OFF!!!!!!

Mind you, quite fancying the cardi on page 165.... one for the xmas list ;)

they are indeed twats, but they do make nice clothes. And they do the same to Cornwall imo..

lol morrisZapp.

i think Boden have the capicity to annoy pretty much everyone with their poncey catalogues. Even smug southern cunts.

i hate myself for buying their clothes (sometimes)

Yawn........another exciting slag off Boden thread....

Oh gawd I know - they treat Cornwall like some kind of twat's playground too.

Btw some of my best friends are southerners, I didn't mean to imply that those of a southern disposition are more cnuty than anybody else.

Just THOSE ONES!!!!!

Get over yourself.

We all know there's nothing worthwhile over the border.

Haven't they also done a shoot abroad with twinkly eyed mediterrean villager lady showing the nice contrast between a flippy skirt and said villager's potato picking apron.

Twats indeed!

I am sure the nation of Scotland can withstand the peril of a patronising over-priced middle class aspirational clothing catalogue.

Perhaps William Wallace must rise again (but wearing Raspberry cords and a faded twill shirt in sage green) to fight off Johnny Blardy Boden and his ilk.

"Aye, fight and you may die. Run, and you'll live... at least a while. And dying in your beds, many years from now, would you be willin' to trade ALL the days, from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they'll never take... OUR FREEDOM (or our Fun Skirts and Essential Shirts)!

Yay Bloodshot, you're the third MNer to recognise my literary origins

Love your name too, it is alarmingly evocative!

Scottishmummy, don't be put off Boden. The clothes are mainly lush and I'm just being bitter and jealous that I am a) half the height of their models and b) unable to buy anything right now due to inherent race-based prudence and parsimony ;)

The catalogue made me feel irrationally violent too.
One of the skirts does have a "life affirming print" though. WTF?!

never mind the dog in the tie what about the wanky "I picture you cocooning with a magazine before a roaring fire. Of course your family may have other plans." (and so do "I" if I'm honest because as a good wholesome mother of (at least) 3 children you should be cooking venison pie and blackberry and apple crumble whilst playing a family game of monopoly and ironing dddddddh's shirts for when he has to go back to town on Monday)
