To be scared of Crimewatch

Ok, I know it's good to be aware of what is happening, appealing for criminals, making us more safety concious, but I do have nightmares after watching some of the reconstructions

I love it! Its nice to see some of these bds are being caught and locked up. Although some of them need to be locked up for a lot longer.

Seriously?

It used to be my wish as a teenager that if I got murdered it would feature on Crimewatch. LOL

I work with someone who got friendly with a couple on holiday. Out of the blue she got a phone call to ask if they could come over to stay awhile. While she was talking to them on the phone, and trying to wriggle her way out of it, their pictures appeared on Crimewatch.

No, you are not alone, I never watch anything like this. In fact I limit myself to soaps (although Eastenders can be a bit frightening) Harry Hills TV burp and You've been Framed.

aren't you frightened of having nasty accidents while cycling downhill or sitting on plastic garden furniture, pete?

Oooooooooh don't get me started, I did have a nasty accident when cycling down hill when I was 11, I fell off my bike and smashed my teeth and cut my knees really badly. Luckily I haven't encountered any problems with plastic furniture except they leave a little sweat mark where you have been sitting but I guess everybody gets that.

Isn't the fear of crime increasing. I think they've introduced the "solved" section to try to combat this.

I get scared of that presenter who has the look of a cat caught in headlights, the Irish police officer - Her name is Jane someone or other.

I like Rav too.

Pointydog do you mean the smashed teeth or the sweat mark.

Report
pointydog · 25/04/2008 23:26

smashed teeth better for comedy value I think

My friend calls it 'You;ve Been Seriously Injured'. Always makes me larf

Rav the policeman was on some reality tv series on channel 4 a few years called Eden where they had to live in the Australian 'bush' for a few months.

I can remember when Crimewatch was really popular and everyone watched it or was it just me. I've just been listening to Midlands news about adults and children watching a child drown and that is seriously scary. (Dont live in the Midland btw) but my sky defaults to it, long story.
