an AIBU about whether i'm being unreasonable for hoisting DS up over my shoulder, patting his little nappied butt and singing "spank that naughty bottom till you're goo-oo-od" to the tune of ABC's "Shoot that poison arrow"?
PS, just before anyone starts, it makes him laugh, and it's a pat, rather than a spank (even lighter than one that you'd use to wind a baby).

DH and I can't help 'smacking' DD on her fat cloth nappy bottom as she runs past us, it gives her hysterical giggles as it completely knocks her off balance!

I have been very careful never to do it when she is stropping or I am angry thoughit doesn't hurt her, like you say, it's winding level, but I am still a bit about it getting associated with being naughty, weird!
