Not sure if it's PMT (could be but who knows as my cycle does what it wants these days).

All I DO know is that it's not taking much to send me into a ranting and raging monster.

Ok - it MUST be PMT. Have eaten 5 bags of Walkers Baked Crisps over the course of this morning - at least 100 cals a bag not to mention the salt and fat content (which Walkers assure me via the packs is "70% reduced" - so that's alright then - not).

Can't stop picking - must go and eat an apple or at least something vaguely healthy...and drink the odd pint of water to flush out some of the salt. Aggghhhh!

Still a misery and now exhausted to boot (unsuprisingly after all that junk).

DH away until Monday (work) so it's just me and DS.

Thanks for the tip about Femal ELR.

Nope - not pg (I should be so lucky ) My body doesn't really do pregnancy. Nope - just PMT I think.

I have just started taking starflower oil as I read that was good for pmt. I never suffered from it at all before, has just started in the last year and it's dreadful, usually for about a week or so before my period starts. Star flower oil also from h&b and half price at £7 at the mo'.

I had a marina coil placed as pmt was so damn bad.....it is heaven. I still get cramps sometimes, however the monster who once lived in the house doesnt visit as much. Had it for a year and have had 2 periods....life is more easier. I know this isn't for everyone, but tried everything else plus I had really irregular periods and at least 2 weeks of hidious pmt....however I do get episodes of extremly bad spelling.

My obgyn (i'm in the usa) put me on a low dose pill (monophasic) to help with a variety of hormonal problems I was having (major pmt being the least of it). By the end of the first month, pretty much every one of my bad symptoms had disappeared. I highly recommend it even if you don't need it for birth control.
