To just want a lovely Christmas, but how?

This year is my DS's 1st christmas. I love christmas and have worked in the hospital the past 4 years. This year mat leave means I get it off DH and I have been so excited. Today we've found our my dad's cancer is now untreatable this could be his last Christmas. I'm devastated how can we get on and enjoy this time of year knowing well lose him soon. I honestly want to make this Christmas magical for our family especially mum and dad. Ds is their 1st grandchild it's all been so lovely but now everything is crumbling
