For christ's sake, get a fucking life!! 'Disgusted', really?!

Am I missing something? Why didn't they just buy the jumper there and then when he saw it in the shop in the 1st place?! Confused

Today I went over to Costa, hoping to treat myself to a ham and cheese paninni.

However, this mother of two was SHOCKED and DISTRAUGHT to find that the ham and cheese was completely sold out - despite having previously been available!

I was offered an alternative cheese and tomato or tuna melt, but sadly the whole experience left a bitter taste in my mouth.

Costa have commented 'we endeavour to have as many available varieties on offer as possible but sometimes things sell out.'

I feel hurt and badly let down by the experience. They have ruined my Christmas.

Must be a quiet day in Coventry for that to make the news.

Jeez, that local newspaper must be desperate for stories. I bet whoever wrote it was dying inside, thinking back to their days at journalism school and the lofty aspirations they used to have Grin

So hang on...they got the jumpers later that day? Jesus!!! What an embarrassment. If that's all they have to worry about then lucky them.

SavoyCabbage · 25/11/2016 13:59

So, Nanny Bean gave him his jumper when they FINALLY got it (later that same day) to make up for all the trauma he suffered. So it wasn't even late for his birthday at all!

The whole story is like something from the Viz letters page.

I've just read the story properly and realised that they wanted the Asda store to hand over two jumpers off the shelves without paying for them, simply because their online order hadn't arrived yet Hmm

They have let a five-year-old down, and they have let a 61 year old down.

It's hilarious isn't it! And a total non story as they get the jumpers later on that day!
