to think this Boden voucher is useless?!

I have a voucher for a new customer for £10 off plus 20% and free delivery.

It's not valid on sale items. But the whole website seems to be on sale! How can I get £10 off then?

Have I missed something?!

I had one of those the other week and there seemed to be 20% off showing across the whole site but it still worked for me

Do they differentiate between "special offer" e.g. 20% of for a limited time or an actual sale when the price is knocked down and will stay down? In the former case you should be able to use your voucher.

Make sure you are putting the code in the correct box. Get them on live chat on the website and they will clarify for you

Ah, I've worked it out! I thought you got the £10 and the 20% with the promotion code, but there's another code, you have to enter it right at the end like a gift voucher.

It worked, yippee!!

9 years on mumsnet and the first time I've ever ordered anything from Boden! Possibly the last time too unless they keep on sending me vouchers. Such lovely stuff, but the prices - wow!

They should make the process a bit clearer IMO as it's an offer aimed at totally novices like me. In fact they should send me their entire range of 4-5 year old girls stuff and 10-11 boys stuff as compensation for the inconvenience nothing for me as I'm too fat

The 20% bit is the promotional code, you can probably find it online. But the £10 off bit is a gift voucher, you get a long code for it, I overlooked it on the bit of paper at first as it didn't look like a promo code as too long. I'm guessing you're not meant to share that bit, I think it's a one-time gift voucher.

I got it by requesting the Boden catalogue, if you haven't before - (or can talk a friend into it!), perhaps you can get one? Or I saw people on the voucher topic here just now, asking other people to share their code.

I had that voucher but couldn't find anything at full price (even with the 20% they always seem to have on) that justified buying anything. Maybe it's just me but I don't get why Boden is worth the increased price compared to other retailers. They seem to charge at least double of anywhere else, quality doesn''t seem noticably better. My voucher went in the bin!

The pointelle tops and kids cord pinnies are the only thing I buy from them now, t-shirts etc used to be great but quality has gone right down I think. I loathe the women's stuff. Yeuck.

I can't remember if I put the code on before noticing it was all on sale, maybe that's it - perhaps once you put the code in it appears across the site not just in the basket.

And come to think of it there was another code already in the basket when I went there the first time. Perhaps activating that makes the discounts appear?

Try it. If the items been reduced by a percentage then it's not 'on sale' it's 'on offer' so hopefully the voucher should still work. I had a £10 off that worked today.
