Seriously man. What were you thinking?

Every time I hear you singing "Golden Brown" I feel pain.

YABU. Stop it.

Just stop.

Stop.

Yes, stop it. You're a funny guy. Stop singing

I haven't heard him singing Golden Brown, but he was a singer long before he was a comedian (music scholarship at school, choral scholarship at university) and is actually quite a good baritone. Perhaps his voice doesn't suit non-classical music.

Haven't heard him sing Golden Brown but have heard him sing more classical stuff and he's got a v good voice

I'm aware of his history as a singer. But Golden Brown? In a classical baritone?

I think he's an average singer, TBH

Mind you, I may have no judgment

I can't bear Alfie Boe and apparently people rate him

Quite like some of Alexander Armstrong singing,

He is bloody awful. He was a chorister, not a singer IYSWIM.
He is the definition of cheese.

Not heard the whole thing, just a clippet on the "buy this album for your granny for Christmas" advert.

When an advert for his album came out last year, I burst out laughing- I thought he was taking the piss out of Aled Jones or something Blush.

Not as bad as her off Eggheads bursting into song with no fucking need or prompt. Keep expecting her to release an album, she's obviously under the impression she's a great singer!

I just can't bear it. Bland, cheesy Christmas-album stuff that never would've been released if he weren't a reasonably-successful comedian - has he no shame? See also: Hugh Laurie.

My partner has Hugh Laurie songs on his laptop. I think it has more to do with his 'man-crush' than music taste to be honest.

The Sir Cliff of Richard latest offering makes me want to throw things at the telly. Time he hung up hid guitar and does away either black wig.

I saw the video trailer. I expected him to morph into Father Ted and sing "My Lovely Horse."

YABU and the reason why is two words:

Hey Duggee.

The man can do anything he wants as far as I'm concerned. Before that we were in Kate and Mim Mim territory. It was an obnoxious and bleak place.

God, it is toe curlingly awful. The advert for the album makes me cringe inside out. I thought it was a piss take at first.

Yes, please stop it.

I'm going to print off the cover of his CD and put it in a blank CD case as a joke Christmas present for my mum.
