AIBU?

To wear my maternity jeans when I'm not pregnant anymore?!

25 weeks pregnant with DD1. As this is a winter pregnancy I've had to buy quite a few pairs of maternity jeans. DS1 was a summer pregnancy so I mainly wore hareem pant things and dresses.
I've bought some really nice jeans from H&M and thinking they're just the same size as my normal ones but with an elasticated band...no doubt I'll wear them for a wee bit after baby arrives but it would feel a shame to discard them completely after that (not planning any more children). Has anyone else got 'further use' from mat jeans?!

Still in mine! They are just so comfy and normal jeans are so sore on Csect scar.

I love how they go up high so you don't get lumps and bumps show through tops and stuff

I definitely wear mine after baby arrives, until tummy returns to normal. But, I find they don't stay up after that and just have a big waistband that shows under clothes.

My jeans are way to big now, but I still wear most of my maternity shirts and some of the leggings. They're too nice not to!

My baby boy has just turned one and I'm still wearing lots of my maternity clothes, especially for work. My normal trousers don't fit any more.

I have maternity leggings and combats still and they are fab, I like to wear them for long flights, car trips etc or days when I just want to be really comfy. No harm wearing clothes out, better than chucking stuff in the bin for no reason

Currently wearing a pair I bought in a charity shop when I was a student - only realised years later that they were maternity jeans and not a revolutionary item of comfortable clothing that was going to take the world by storm! Only way I get jeans to fit properly - small waist and large backside...

I would. I have a really lovely pair of under bump maternity trousers that I bought when 6 months pregnant with my now two-year-old. I would still wear them except they are now too small for me!

currently wearing my maternity bra (soft vest top type). Wear my maternity leggings often. Never had jeans as was heavily pregnant in Summer and didn't need but would happliy wear if I did. Still wear big pants although have bought new ones (CS scar and overhang does not like anything else). My old jogging bottoms I wore constantly have sadly gone at the crotch now. DD is 2. Grin

I wore my Next under-bump maternity jeans until they literally fell apart. Absolutely loved them - they were the perfect shape for my legs. I'd cheerfully have bought more but they were on the sale rail when I got them.

Iv still got my maternity pjs and my DCs are teens. I never actually wore them when I was pg though.
Oh and a couple of my workout tshirts started life as maternity wear.

Heck, I'm planning on buying more maternity jeans - baby nine weeks old and I'm only a half stone off my starting weight, but I've always had a podgy pot belly and these under-bump ones are the comfiest thing ever!

Have just put out the maternity nightdress used during both my pregnancies, it was lovely, cool and soft like a giant TShirt and my go to for very warm Summer nights, when you only need one layer. It's still good as new really and I think I might use some of the material for a patchwork memory thing for them. DS is 23 and DD is 22.

I still wear mine and twins are 7 months old.
They seem a bit snug at the moment though, which is worrying as I wore them to 8 months with the two littl'ns
