Just thinking about it: can you imagine being the butler/maitre d/housekeeper/chamber maid etc at the White House and facing your employers changing from the Obamas to Don and Mel? I really do think they will have trouble hanging on to the domestic staff over the next few months Grin

Now, that's a mean thing to call her. Grin

Mel-an-ee-a. It's not difficult.

Mel-an-ee-a? I heard Mel-ah-nee-a today. Melanie I could cope with. But seriously, having the WH on your CV can only be a bonus for the domestic (as opposed to political) staff, so I hope they can walk away into lovely jobs. I am not sure I would like to be pussy-grabbed by the new prez while simply trying to do the dusting in the Oval office.

I'm sure they currently have staff.
During the election no disgruntled former staff stepped forward.
Having a 12 year old in the house might cause the staff grey hairs.

Yolo, that might be a more likely scenario if Bill was back living in the WH.

possibly out2 but at least Bill had charm, something the Don lacks. I reckon the Obama kids were a doddle compared to the possible behaviour of the Trump child (who I thought was a grandchild - poor little sod looked so knackered and bored on the night). However I could be completely wrong and he is an angel and totally unspoilt by his Daddy - I hope so.

Mel-an-ee-a? I heard Mel-ah-nee-a today. What's the difference?

I'm sure they'll have no problem keeping/finding staff. Being a dickhead politician doesn't make you a horrible domestic employer.

Melanoma is a horrible thing to call her. I'm surprised that someone who has had two melanomas removed would use it as a nickname for someone who is basically innocuous. Or do you have done genuine issue with her (above her obviously terrible taste in men?).

I get the impression the Donald has very little to do with his child. He's stated in interviews that baby rearing is very much woman's work.

I imagine the domestic staff actually don't come into contact particularly with POTUS so it will make little difference to a potentially well paid job.

I'm the opposite of a Trump fan, but calling his wife the name of a cancer and slagging off his son for looking tired at 3am is not ok. IMHO.

I agree with Zebra why are you making fun of a woman who has done nothing wrong, that you don't even know who simply has the misfortune to me married to an awful man.

It's like all those who blame Hillary for Bills indiscretions

This with bells on. There is plenty to criticise him for without resorting to wondering how he will treat white house permanent employees.

I feel sorry for the little boy - and not just because he was tired and bored at 3am. I really cannot see MELANIA as any kind of First Lady in the mould of Michelle - unless she can find a few more speeches to plagiarise. I guess I feel kind of sorry for her too. But I think I feel even sorrier for the WH domestic staff who work bloody hard (whether on banquets or on hoovering or on making the POTUS a toastie at 3am) and now have to deal with Don and Mel.

Oh yes, I hate it when that just happens to me without any conscious decision on my part Grin.

The Melanoma thing is mean. But she is choosing to be married to a racist, sexist fucknugget.

Thanks for the title, In future I think we should call them the Melanomas. Not the kids though, they can't help their folks.

A marriage to a controlling man is not that easy to leave. Have you no seen the picture of him trying to see what her vote was, he didn't even trust her to vote for him!
