I finally gave in and bought my first Advent Calender today....all thanks to you guys!! I justified it by saying its really between my 2 teenage girls, 15 and 16...but it really isn't. Hope I can last not peeking in doors before time!

I have an advent calendar each year and I'm 39. I always get a good quality chocolate me but this year have treated myself to one of those beauty ones

I'm just deciding what to buy get it for £35 - think I'm going to be very boring and get pants and socks for OH. Very excited though, I haven't had an advent calender for years!

I'd be more thrilled by a Lego or Playmobil calendar!

I've got 2! The Lindt reindeer one and a playmobil one, I'm such a big kid

I got one today too! I talked myself into it because I had to buy tights anyway so it would have been basically rude not too.

This off why I don't own a house, isn't it? Cannot wait for goodies!!!

Megainstant Thu 10-Nov-16 20:21:59

Saw it today. It looks great!

Nospringflower Thu 10-Nov-16 20:27:45

I bought it today but not sure what to do with it!

Can't give it to anyone as a Christmas present as it's too early but seems a bit decadent to spend that much on me on loads of stuff I don't need and would never have gone out and bought!

Am seriously thinking about returning it and spending the £35 on a top or perfume or something. In fact this has just convinced me to return it and use the cash towards a £95 cashmere cardigan that I have been trying to justify buying! Thanks folks!

Becca19962014 Thu 10-Nov-16 21:00:27

Why can't I find the moomin advent calendar in the uk??

Becca19962014 Thu 10-Nov-16 21:13:45

Hurrah I found one!

wiccamum Thu 10-Nov-16 21:34:52

My brother is scared of them! Ha!!

MsVanRein Thu 10-Nov-16 21:37:56

I bought 2 extra as gifts as well!

Nospringflower Thu 10-Nov-16 21:56:14

They are still on sale U2. Unless you mean for a bargain!

MaddyHatter Thu 10-Nov-16 22:00:32

i have it, i tend to regift some of the things in it blush

they make awesome stocking fillers for some of my friends.

Becca19962014 Thu 10-Nov-16 22:19:13

Amazon.co.uk it was very pricey - £44 (from Finland inc postage). They had four left when I checked out. I couldn't find one anywhere else other than eBay.

Becca19962014 Thu 10-Nov-16 22:25:05

Just checked mine wasn't that much. They seem to be going up in price as they're sold.
