It's not even lunchtime but so far...

The car window has been open all night so now soaked.

I dropped an egg and managed to cover not just the floor but an entire stack of clean dry towels I hadn't put away.

Next doors cat has just shat on my wall because the ground is frozen.

I'm going back to bed, I'm skipping today.

Apart from the unmentionable what's spoiled your mood today?

Month old baby just won't be put down. Falls asleep in my arms but soon as put her down she's awake and crying. She's been doing this since 5.30am

Lack of sleep, diagnosed with depression, abnormal cells in smear test and missing my dd who is at her dads.

OvariesBeforeBrovaries Wed 09-Nov-16 11:58:19

First world problem central here.

I have a cold and feel vile.
DD is being such a whinger.
I knocked a reed diffuser off the window sill in the bedroom and it spilled all over a load of clothes and the carpet.

The combination of snow and needing to use public transport.

Heychickadee Wed 09-Nov-16 12:00:15

The Tesco self service shitting a load of 2p and 1p coins out for change. Also I'm about to start a 14 hour shift.

Lilaclily Wed 09-Nov-16 12:01:29

Getting completely soaked on the school run, a combination of lashing rain and idiot drivers going too fast soaking me and dd sad

Lilaclily Wed 09-Nov-16 12:02:01

Oh and I'm not mentioning politics but ffs some people on fb get a bloody grip !

Stormwhale Wed 09-Nov-16 12:03:45

The poor old boy who fell over in the street and laid on the floor in the rain while people walked past him. I ran over from the other side of the street, but at least 5 people walked past. It makes me sick to my stomach.

Next door are having a skip delivered now.

Fucks sake.

OK it doesn't sound terrible but the neighbour is a guy who does things the hard way.
A skip won't be for rubble or owt he will be building an Ikea on his drive or franking his garden.

Eurgh shitty Wednesday..

LondonHuffyPuffy Wed 09-Nov-16 12:08:24

Stormwhale that's awful. I really, really hate people sometimes. Humanity sucks. So glad you ran over and helped. You don't suck. flowers and a brew for you and brew for the gentleman who fell over.

Tram derailment in Croydon. Some loss of life and road closed.

SoupDragon Wed 09-Nov-16 12:11:31

Teen DSs are at home because a fatal tram derailment meant they couldn't get to school. I whinged about it before I found out there were fatalities which kind of put my day into perspective!

Which isn't to say other whinges aren't allowed, obviously! It was just that mine was directly related.

SoupDragon Wed 09-Nov-16 12:11:54

xpost there.

New boiler supposed to be fitted yesterday but couldnt so had no heating at all since yesterday morning.
DS had major anxiety attack so couldnt get to college today, leading to me losing my rag with him - on his birthday blush
Spilt a cup of hot chocolate in the car and still soaked cos got nowhere in the house remotely warm to dry carpet out

OhBollocksFuck Wed 09-Nov-16 12:14:40

My dog pissed on my hall floor because it was sleeting and she's far too delicate to go outside and get wet.

My period is starting so my back's aching.

The milk has gone off but no-one's willing to go out of work and buy more. I haven't had a tea since 6:15am

DigestiveMuncher Wed 09-Nov-16 12:15:46

The snow and the fact I have to go out in the snow to keep DD quiet happy.
That the only radiator in my massive freezing cold kitchen decided to burst the other day & my landlord is in Pakistan so aren't able to get it sorted through him. So now having to fork out money to get it fixed myself, knowing damn well I'm not going to get it paid back to me when he gets home. & I can't wait because it's truly horrendous. It's all tiled ceiling to floor along with stupid tiled floor and walls in the stupid porch that's also freezing because the windows are shit and drafty!!! Beautiful house in summer but until we get these stupid things sorted it's gonna be a horrible house in winter!! sad

Fridge freezer packed up this morning (tripped the electrics but took some time to discover the culprit) and now need to research and order a replacement which I could do without but this thread has put it in to perspective...

Tomorrowillbeachicken Wed 09-Nov-16 12:17:19

I'm doing nanowrimo and a few thousand behind atm. Very annoying as the internet keeps calling my name.

Still shook by the Woodruff events as been aware of the missing peole photos on FB since October.

SootSprite Wed 09-Nov-16 12:18:00

Dd and I are STILL ill from this fucking cold. TWO BASTARD WEEKS now and not improving much. 😡

percythepenguin Wed 09-Nov-16 12:18:27

The house we wanted was sold today. Now our house is on the market and there's not a single suitable one for sale in the area!

ConferencePear Wed 09-Nov-16 12:20:38

Missed an appointment at the hairdressers because I just couldn't find a parking space. I gave myself thirty minutes and drove round and round and failed. Hair dresser was very understanding though.

OvariesBeforeBrovaries Wed 09-Nov-16 12:20:54

Tomorrow try doing some word wars; I'm about to start on the 15 minute word war threads on there once I've done some lunch smile they've really helped me catch up word-count wise.

RedGrapeCornSnake Wed 09-Nov-16 12:21:58

A daddy long legs spider lost its grip on the ceiling this morning and fell on me while I was in the shower, it took a few seconds to rinse it off my bare arm
