I hate scary stories, yet I'm strangely drawn to them. I remember reading one on here about a guy in a club that made my blood run cold. A ghostly guy. Perhaps someone can link to it.

dontpokethebear Sun 23-Oct-16 23:14:28

Oh yeah! The guy in the club was spooky!

Hello all. None of my own really but I love this stuff. Wish I could see a ghost but I am about as spiritual as josef stalin's corpse.

We recently visited conwy castle in Snowdonia. My little girl who is 4 was really frightened about going into the prison tower as she said a guard all in black was looking at her. We didn't see him.

Just going to pop on here. Nothing to tell, as I'm going to sleep but I'd like to read tomorrow.

My mum and her best friend used to work for the local boots in our small seaside town back in the 1960's. One summer after cycling to work they decided to take their lunch out on the flat part of the roof to sunbathe. As they enjoyed their sarnies my mum looked up and saw a man in the top window hanging from a roap. She screamed alerting her friend who practically wet herself with fear. They jumped 1 story down to the alley and jumped on each others bikes and legged it home. When they went back to work the next day the manager took them up to the window to alley their fears. The window had been split into two with a wall down the middle. No way anyone could have been their. I recently asked a lady who was my mum's supervisor and she told me that they always had loud stomping from up there and would freak out all the young workers.

My DGF died when I was 16yo. He died in the February, quite suddenly.

In the July of the same year, I was in the local shopping centre, which is the same one he used to go to each week. It was a very hot summer, so most people in shorts, tshirts etc.

I saw my DGF, up ahead of me, turning into one of the shops that he went in every week when he was alive. It was him to the point that I shouted and ran after him. When I got to the shop, it had closed down weeks earlier.

The thing was, he was dressed for winter, full long coat, hat, gloves, scarf and a very distinctive hat. I am adamant that it was him. I also felt a wave of love at the same time.

Years later, DS1 as an adult, bought a hat just like my DGF. It's not fashionable, but DS said it felt like a good hat and that a kind old man in an overcoat, in the shop, told him to buy it. When I asked DS he said the man had a full long coat, hat, gloves, scarf. The man also shook his hand and said he was proud of him.

Oh mod that's creepy.

I had a dream on Monday night about my late DGF who was very close to - in it I was showing him my new baby that is due alo the 26th of this month. When I woke up I told Dh about it and he went to work. I sat down to eat my porridge and my waters broke and I had dd2 at 9:05 on Tuesday night. grin

I think DGF came to visit me in my dream.
