They're at it again (see previous 1000000 posts) or quick reminder I have 5 month old twins and my neighbours think they own our road and are getting sweet revenge on me for legally parking on the unrestricted public highway --which they think they own.

You are going to have to stand up to them. They are bullies and bullies only give up when they are confronted. I would also suggest installing a camera facing them and build a case to hand over to the council/police for intimidation. Because that is what this is.

As much as I posted this in anger being all Billy Big Bollocks ready to smash the windscreen I've just broken down in tears.

I'm being bullied in my own home.

Have you phoned the police about them yet?

You are. I am sorry to say. If your dh is home get him to march over and bang in the door and tell them to fucking move. Hugs

Can you not Park on your drive, can you park over your drive where they are. Piss then off more but making a statement.

Or buy a clamp?

You'll have to park accross your own drive for a bit, what bloody wankers. I'm pissed off for you!

Yes I phoned the police last time but they'd moved the car when they turned up and gone out.
I showed the police the photos and they poo pooed it as 'it could have been an emergency' give them the benefit of the doubt type thing.

I've emailed my letting agent asking what they suggest. I'm so upset.

Have you got a community police officer? Contact them every time, even if they say they can't do anything, they can. Keep a diary, contact the council, local councillor, local mp. Make a nuisance of yourself and someone will help you

Our street had a nightmare neighbour whose parking caused no end of grief. We all signed a petition and sent it to our MP. Would other neighbours support you?

Keep phoning the police. Every time. And is intstalling a camera a possibility? It's definitely intimidation and it's horrid. Poor you. Fancy holding a MN party at yours and we will all come and park all over your road for a bit?! Grin

Could you phone the police again and explain how you are feeling intimidated and bullied and ask for a PCSO to visit?

Report
Imnotacelebgetmeouttahere · 30/09/2016 19:24

Some MN-ners need to come block them in for the weekend due to a twin related emergency Blush

Seriously though it's not fair you are being harassed so please call the police whilst they are blocking you and have serious words

God that it awful. Call 101 again :(

Oh sweetheart ((((((big hug)))))

I sort of had this but in a more 'oh, didn't think you'd mind' kind of way with my neighbour when I first moved here, as parking can get a bit crowded on the road.
A few episodes of me knocking on his door non stop when he was on nights, until he got up and moved it soon sorted it.

Apart from what pp's have suggested re cameras, i don't know what else to suggest.

I showed the police the photos and they poo pooed it as 'it could have been an emergency' give them the benefit of the doubt type thing.

Every single time they do it photograph them , make sure time/date stamp on. And report to 101 every single time as well, if you can get a reference number for the call you may be able to get them to link each call to the next to build up a picture.

I can't believe they have the nerve to keep doing this! I would keep a diary of every time they park over your drive (with photos) and keep phoning 101. This is what community support police are for - tell them you have been round to talk to neighbours but are either ignored or abused, and need help. Perhaps go round (or send husband) and have your phone recording in your hand in case they shout at you

Could they give the neighbours some sort of ASBO maybe...? It is certainly antisocial behaviour!

Where are you? We've got a landy that can be an accidental battering ram.

Get a camera and let him see you install it. The twunt might finally realise his actions will come to roost and he will hopefully leave you alone. I feel so bloody cross for you.

Keep a diary of the parking Twitter and take date stamped photos and record the abuse using a phone, again date stamped if possible. Take your evidence to the police as it won't just show things they can brush off as civil matters.
