I've just started an access course, and it's going well so far but I honestly don't know what I want to study at uni. I'm really drawn to history, but I'm not sure if it's going to give me a shot at a better job at the end of it. I'm 31 now, I don't want to turn 35 and still be stuck in a dead end job.

Did anyone do any of these degrees? If so, did you get a job with them? Are they worth the time?

BA in Archaeology
BA in History
BA Archaeology and Heritage
BA Historical Archaeology

Thank you!

In all honesty, heritage isn't a field which is massively busy....government cuts mean you'll struggle to get employment in that area. Archaeology the same.

Thank you, that's really helpful.
