Mine's the bloody "In The Night Garden" intro. Every bloody night.

iklboo Thu 29-Sep-16 18:26:59

The top note in Defying Gravity (if the rest of the song has been sung really well)

SweetChickadee Thu 29-Sep-16 18:28:26

PoisonousSmurf Thu 29-Sep-16 18:28:38

Watership Down, when the 'Black Rabbit' comes to collect the hero at the end. Blub**

CurlyhairedAssassin Thu 29-Sep-16 18:28:49

The abandoned phones in the Carphone Warehouse advert used to have me filling up. I know this is deeply pathetic. grin

Your Song by Elton John

Champagneformyrealfriends Thu 29-Sep-16 18:30:44

Curly did you see the freebies advert with the dog? That one made me cry blush

SimonLeBonOnAndOn Thu 29-Sep-16 18:31:34

Male voice choirs
Especially if they sing Danny Boy

CurlyhairedAssassin Thu 29-Sep-16 18:31:43

Oh I know! Right at the start of the Lion King Musical when all the animals troop into the auditorium through the aisles, I found my lip wobbling and couldn't understand why. I turned round in my seat to watch everything from all the different angles and saw that well over half the audience were experiencing the same emotion as me, wiping their eyes etc.

CurlyhairedAssassin Thu 29-Sep-16 18:33:00

Champagne: I don't watch adverts anymore really, just forward through them. Thank god, if they could leave me traumatised!!

CurlyhairedAssassin Thu 29-Sep-16 18:33:23

(No I didn't see the dog one)

Onedaftmonkey Thu 29-Sep-16 18:33:41

When I'm watching my favourite band. Doesn't matter what song they play. After 20 odd years it never fails me.

Tiredandtested Thu 29-Sep-16 18:34:30

The John Lewis Christmas adverts. I bloody hate the festive season but somehow they always make me teary.

NickNacks Thu 29-Sep-16 18:35:32

EverySongbirdSays Thu 29-Sep-16 18:38:37

Mine is Extreme Makeover Home Edition always even though rationally I know I'm being manipulated into crying.

CandyOcean Thu 29-Sep-16 18:38:59

'Vincent' by Don McLean. No idea why, Van Gogh isn't even my favourite artist. Probably I'm just a suckered for mawkish sentimentality blush

WetsTheFinger Thu 29-Sep-16 18:39:30

Very old men shopping alone.

hopetobehappy Thu 29-Sep-16 18:39:41

Whenever I hear children singing Away in a Manger, also whenever I hear Oh mio Babbino Cara.

MarshaBrady Thu 29-Sep-16 18:40:07

Children singing in choirs or big groups. Makes me well up. Too much emotion

maddiemookins16mum Thu 29-Sep-16 18:40:17

"Do you hear the people sing", the reprise (or whatever it's called), at the end of Les Mis on stage.
U2 singing Bad at a concert, 30 years after I first saw them.
News reports about older people being abused in homes (actuakly I'm filling up now).
Sad cat adverts.

Champagneformyrealfriends Thu 29-Sep-16 18:41:31

Wets ditto

PotatoBread Thu 29-Sep-16 18:42:39
