AIBU?

To have spent a lot of last night 'hunning' and lolling (lighthearted)

My cousin came back from Tenerife yesterday and we got back in touch on Facebook, had a conversation etc - but she does, and not in an ironic way, use 'hun' in every fb message - 'oh we had a great time hun' etc etc - she and I are very different- with very different strengths and weaknesses - but I love her to bits! Although I can predict the liberal sprinkling of 'huns' into the conversation with a great degree of accuracy!

.. Oh and also , again not in an ironic way, I quite enjoyed the hunning - it provided some 'light relief'

Sometimes I hun in conversations. Blush

It always makes me feel a bit dirty and shameful but someone huns then I feel like I have to hun to sound equally lighthearted.

It's a slippery slope!

I've never hunned as far as I can remember. I think it would be a bit less annoying if it was hon, at least then it would make sense.

Walter - I'm with you in so far as if someone Huns I feel I have to 'hun' - I quite like it as if we are developing a sort of 'hun' camaraderie! Smile

Yes, that's exactly it.

You get hijacked. Because if you don't respond in hun, you end up seeming cool and aloof.

I hate 'hun' with a passion and have never ever said it. Ever. Haha

My most hated way it's used is the "what's up Hun?x" squad on Facebook who post that to anyone with a sad or cryptic status.

Always followed by " I'll inbox you Hun"
