Hate it. There is literally nothing good about it.

The notifications look like something you'd get 10 years ago.
The emojis are just... wrong.
The way it's unlocked now just messes with me and now I just keep swiping to the news instead.

You can switch off the 'rest to unlock' and switch back to swiping via the accessibility menu. Found that online, I'm not upgrading myself until they iron out the bugs

Took me a few days to get used to not swiping but I'm over it now. Nearly all the phones that take iOS 10 have fingerprint sensors so swiping, then touching the home button is pointless.

I also hate the fact that texting has now changed to jab that tiny annoying arrow and the cancel button is where the 'send' used to be. It's driving me maaaaaddddd.

I've been ignoring the requests to update and occasionally deleting it from the storage manager when it really starts bugging me.
Usually buys me a few days grace before it starts whining again.

I would like a way to remove (not hide) all the apps I don't use.
Oh and the Apple watch thing - don't need it. It can fuck off and stop using up memory.

Which version are you all on? I'm 9.3.5, and no update waiting. I usually try to wait a while before going through with changes anyway.

Yes you can revert to a previous iOS if you must . How old is your dd? Tell her she can draw her own messages on the text app.
