To think that overheating does not mean she is in anyway unhealthy or unfit. New York can be very warm this time of year and it's only early September.

So many on Twitter questioning her health and whether that makes her good enough to be president. Tbh I would choose a brain dead Clinton over trump anyday. Good she's expected to be president not an Olympic athlete.

Here is the story.

I agree, it can happen to anyone at any time and shouldn't be a reflection on her ability to be president.

If trump gets in then the USA is fucked.

It's fairly common for soldiers to faint during the Remembrance Day parades and one would assume they are pretty fit. It's just that sometimes the conditions and stress or fatigue cause people to become unwell. Perfectly normal.

AnyFucker Sun 11-Sep-16 17:09:36

I went to NY in Sept/Oct and nearly fucking keeled over from the humidity

I expect she has to stand for long periods of time, pretending to be ok. I couldn't do her job for the world...

CotswoldStrife Sun 11-Sep-16 17:16:56

This will be jumped on because of her previous health issues, unfortunately sad

Seekingadvice123 Sun 11-Sep-16 17:17:53

No doubt the orange imbecile will be all over to like rash

AnyFucker Sun 11-Sep-16 17:19:54

Yeah, 'cos Trump looks and acts like the actual picture of perfect mental and physical health

VeryBitchyRestingFace Sun 11-Sep-16 17:24:41

I don't give a fuck if she's fucking dying.

They can stuff her remains and hire a ventriloquist until she gets this job DONE.

phillipp Sun 11-Sep-16 17:24:41

There have been rumours of her ill health for a while.

Actually I think if she is ill and it will impair her ability to do the job, voters should be made aware. The fuss is because people think it proves something is going on.

Otherwise it's no ones business and this one incident is nothing.

But in all fairness Trump doesn't hide the fact that he doesn't have the ability to do the job and it seems to have made no difference.

MarsBarMary Sun 11-Sep-16 17:33:26

Actually looking at the video that has now surfaced I change my mind. She appears to have a sort of mini seizure type fall. I think public should be made aware she is not as healthy as she claims.

MimsyPimsy Sun 11-Sep-16 17:36:09

Oh dear, awful news. That Trump has the luck of the devil. Actually, perhaps he is the devil. hmm

Helmetbymidnight Sun 11-Sep-16 17:38:26

Shit, that's not good.

I agree with verybitching. Just send in a body double or something...

MarsBarMary Sun 11-Sep-16 17:39:11

No doubt trump will use this to his advantage.

MarsBarMary Sun 11-Sep-16 17:40:29

She could step aside to be honest. I think the risk of trump is too great and she has a lot of political baggage and health controversy. Maybe her VP could take over.

scatterolight Sun 11-Sep-16 17:43:15

Hillary has a history of very serious health issues.

www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/hillarys-health-concerns-serious-say-most-doctors-polled-by-the-association-of-american-physicians-and-surgeons-aaps-300325065.html

There have been many incidents on the campaign trail which would suggest the issues are ongoing. This is just the latest one.

From the videos it's clearly not a fainting from heat (which was only 25C at the time). People are right to be concerned. Perhaps Biden should take over the candidacy.

AnyFucker Sun 11-Sep-16 17:45:47

Prince Philip was stuffed years ago and is wheeled out for the appropriate occasions. They could do that. Anything but Trump.

MarsBarMary Sun 11-Sep-16 17:48:49

But say she has a neurological condition. How is she going to debate trump (physically) not in terms of argument. 2 hours of standing lots of cameras, and pressure. She needs to be upfront but she can't now admit because she is already seen as untrustworthy and she claimed to have a clean bill of health.

you cannot possibly tell from that video what caused her to partially collapse.

It was around 29c in New York today, so pretty hot and yes, some people are more prone to fainting unfortunately.

Lorelei76 Sun 11-Sep-16 17:50:03

AF "Prince Philip was stuffed years ago and is wheeled out for the appropriate occasions."

well in that case, he has convinced me fairly recently - I've shaken his hand and walked with him up 4 bloody flights of stairs which I didn't want to climb ut he did (impatient from all that exhausting sitting around he has to apparently - where's the eyeroll emoticon).

Alas, Hillary does have some health issues but if we limited candidates to only those who had none, we could lose some excellent ones so I wouldn't wish to do that.

SoupDragon Sun 11-Sep-16 17:50:11

I don't think you can tell from that video clip what was wrong with her. She is clearly unwell at the start when she appears to be propped up

SenecaFalls Sun 11-Sep-16 17:50:26

scatterlight The AAPS cited in your link is a right-wing political organization. The were originally organized to fight the so-called socialization of medicine in the US. Hillary has long been a proponent of universal health care, with significant government involvement. So anything the AAPS has to say against her is highly suspect.

oh for goodness sake people. flipping conspiracy theories.

At least she hasn't vomited on another countries president.

Lorelei76 Sun 11-Sep-16 17:51:19

OP - did she say she had a clean bill of health? I thought she'd had a couple of TIAs at least. I guess it depends on the definition of clean bill of health - my dad worked 20+ years after his third heart attack.

AnyFucker Sun 11-Sep-16 17:52:06

The other photographs show she is dressed in clothes that would make her even hotter (navy suit) and packed very tightly in with people around her. The air temp is irrelevant in high humidity.

I would have problems with that too. She is human, not a fucking robot
