AIBU to be annoyed that when DD (7) went to her friend's house her friend's Mum gave her fish fingers and beans as a dinner. When DD's friend visited us we gave her coleslaw and quinoa salad- a healthy meal! DD is ridiculously bright and unusually sensitive child and I believe this experience may have imbalanced her and disrupted her sleeping.

Aye right.

2/10 or is this supposed to be hilariously sarcastic?

yoink Mon 05-Sep-16 10:58:43

Ok

ghostyslovesheep Mon 05-Sep-16 10:58:52

try harder - 2/10 not even worth a biscuit

DropYourSword Mon 05-Sep-16 10:58:55

But coleslaw is full of mayonnaise. And there's no protein in there. Surely dry tofu would have been a better choice.

hmm

You're not even a very good troll, you're just silly.

biscuit

Just give her a fruit shoot and a bag of Haribo.

PurpleDaisies Mon 05-Sep-16 10:59:07

You are so not bring unreasonable. Fish fingers and beans is not a meal. Where were the potato smiley faces? Disgusting behaviour.

user1473069153 Mon 05-Sep-16 10:59:24

Livia- Not sarcastic at all. Genuinely a bit concerned.

Shannaratiger Mon 05-Sep-16 11:00:06

YABU occasional processed food will do her no harm, sounds like normal food to me?

KnockMeDown Mon 05-Sep-16 11:00:07

YANBU - there should have been chips with that.

DropYourSword Mon 05-Sep-16 11:00:20

Concerned?

Pardonwhat Mon 05-Sep-16 11:01:39

I'm guessing that this is supposed to be one of those threads but it's not even funny confused

redisthenewblack Mon 05-Sep-16 11:02:05

What is this kin-ow-ah you speak of?

LiviaDrusillaAugusta Mon 05-Sep-16 11:02:20

Okay so not sarcastic...

Most people I know would rather stick pins in their eyes than eat quinoa, particularly with coleslaw. Here's a hint for next time, be more realistic.

They probably had far too much screen time too.

Just imagine what would have happened if she'd been served KFC!

user1473069153 Mon 05-Sep-16 11:02:49

DD's always eaten coleslaw and quinoa. She's not a picky child in the least, she just doesn't eat any sort of processed meat or other foods- like beans. We mill our own quinoa on the nutribullet. It's a fun bonding activity for us both!

PurpleDaisies Mon 05-Sep-16 11:03:31

This isn't funny. It's a bit pathetic really.

DropYourSword Mon 05-Sep-16 11:03:34

I had quinoa for the first time tonight. Pretty fucking disappointed!

Dontneedausername Mon 05-Sep-16 11:03:54

Oh, this has brightened up my shit morning 😂😂😂

FuzzyOwl Mon 05-Sep-16 11:04:06

She clearly does eat other foods as she ate them at her friend's house.

YABVU to have wasted my time reading this.

Champers4Pampers Mon 05-Sep-16 11:04:28

I though the schools went back today? hmm

Yeah, you're getting a bit boring now OP. I expect these kind of threads to be a bit more entertaining.
