Curried fish pie does taste nice, though

Currief fish pie is lovely. Hoummus pizza less so.

Agree. Even if they are actually nice, they all sound far too horrible to risk trying.

Actually... they are all fantastic, I did the fish pie and the pasta anyway but I tried the veg chilli twist and it was equally tasty.
Peach on pizza being another is really good.

You should try them, you might just be surprised.

Horseradish in macaroni cheese...why?
Their recipes remind me of Letitia and the chocolate marmite cake in Dibley.

They said to put chocolate in a chilli and it really does work. We did it before Sainsburys and the Hairy Bikers suggested it though.

I use Worcester sauce with tomato and basil pasta so soy would be along those lines I would have thought?

Love the idea of peach on a pizza but every time my DD sees the advert she goes green, makes retching noises & does fake passing out (she's 8 & prone to being dramatic!!)

i don't think i can be convinced by any of it - apart from the horseradish cheese sauce perhaps. peaches on pizza - NO!

I've always put soy sauce in when I'm making a tomato sauce for pasta.

is that for real ikiboo? for me i think that can right up to second place behind the coconut in the chilli idea.

Probably make then up for publicity.

Some kind of staff competition for the most random mix.

I don't eat fish but fish pie with curry powder sounds like it would go. There is a creamy pasta dish with a mild curry flavour. My Mum has cooked it since the 70's and it turns up in the odd restaurant here in France still.

Would never have thought about dedicated coconut in veggie chilli but hey spice and coconut go so why not. I could see it could give a depth of flavour.
The soy thing is just another version of Worcestershire sauce / balsamic vinegar / wine / wine vinegar. If you don't have any to hand then soy has the same base flavours. A splash at most.

Many recipes that you use mustard as a seasoning then you can also use horseradish, like a cheese sauce.

Coffee and chocolate are those old faves trotted out by tv chefs over the last 10 years.

There was a ham cooked in Coke that sounded especially bad.

Sweet and savoury should be outlawed. I will never try peaches on pizza. Pizza then peaches, yes.
