Not only does it have a hashtag but it uses the annoying phrase of "this boy tho"

All yours for the tiny sum of £16.50.

Who wants one?

Could this be the most hated shirt on mn?

OwlinaTree · 31/08/2016 19:06

Eh? I'm obviously not down with the kids as I have no idea what that means!BlushGrin

Giratina · 31/08/2016 19:07

I don't think most MNers are the target market to be fair Grin.

Idliketobeabutterfly · 31/08/2016 19:08

#thisposttho

Soubriquet · 31/08/2016 19:08

I don't get why it should be hated.

EsmesBees · 31/08/2016 19:31

I've googled it and still have no idea what it means. Feeling old...

Sparklingbrook · 31/08/2016 19:32

I have teens so feel I should know these things. Blush

Room101isWhereIUsedToLive · 31/08/2016 19:38

Isn't it probably the modern equivalent of "he\she is fit". Or am I barking up the totally wrong tree?

Lelloteddy · 31/08/2016 19:40

My teen just gave me the Hmm face when I asked what it means....

Idliketobeabutterfly · 31/08/2016 19:41

i assume it is Room101

HarrietSchulenberg · 31/08/2016 19:44

There's a fair few clothing items I'd put in room 101 ahead of that one.

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 31/08/2016 19:45

Does THO stand for something then? Tidies his office? Tips hedgehogs over?

BendydickCuminsnatch · 31/08/2016 19:48

It's more like 'oh, this boy is the bees knees and I love him' rather than 'oh, this boy is so fit and hott' IMO. Which is probably a good thing as I assume it's something a parent would dress their kid in Grin

Soubriquet · 31/08/2016 19:50

It's not room 101 but it's a clothing company for children

Definitely not meaning fit Grin

RaskolnikovsGarret · 31/08/2016 19:53

I dare not ask my teens, but applying my recent experience of following them on Twitter etc, I think it means that this boy is great/good looking. I think 'tho' can add quite a lot to a sentence - emphasising the importance of the preceding noun. Well that's my grammatical interpretation anyway.

I don't think it merits much outrage though?

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 31/08/2016 19:55

*I don't think it merits much outrage tho .
Get with it Rasko Wink

acasualobserver · 31/08/2016 20:21

Harmless. Next problem please.

RaskolnikovsGarret · 31/08/2016 21:12

i don't get it

DropYourSword · 31/08/2016 21:18

If you think that's bad, you should see any one of the thousands of the death metal band t shirts that my DH wears. I don't even notice them now.

PelvicFloorClenchReminder · 31/08/2016 21:22

If you wrote on "Chan" before the "This" it would make an excellent Doctor Who reference shirt, and would therefore obviously be super cool.
