AIBU?

Dh and his flamboyant bin bag buggerations

Dh is a flamboyant bin bag flapper. I suspect it's done as a passive aggressive demonstration of how one is meant to create space in the bin rather than rely on dropping the rubbish over the bin.

However part of his flamboyant routine is extra flap page around the edges of the bin, lifting the bin handle the carefully placing it over the edge.

This means that when you lift and tie the bin unless you remember to I tuck the fucker you end up tying the handle in the bin rendering the bin bag stuck until you untie and release.

Which gives me the raging hab dabs Angry

So I have to endure the faffing of the bin bag akin to Rowan Atkinson gift wrapping your Mistresses jewellery and to add insult to injury undo the fucking up of the original faffing of its application.

AIBU to hide the bin bags from him?

Throw your bin out. Problem solved.

HoneyDragon · 31/08/2016 18:31

What do I do with the rubbish?

Well... I threw out our bin because our dog kept opening it a dragging everything out. I resorted to a carrier bag in a cupboard. We have a million recycling bins too. I appreciate you may not have my many rubbish depositing options. You could always put Dh in a bin bag instead.

Soubriquet · 31/08/2016 18:38

I think we need to see a video clip of the bin flapping to fully understand the severity of the problem

Bring your wheelie bin onto the kitchen and cut out the middleman.

HoneyDragon · 31/08/2016 18:50

I am not a grouch, I'm a victim of unnecessary unknotting.

Dontyoulovecalpol · 31/08/2016 18:55

Oh OP I have similar. My DH, when driving, may need to ie change lane. But instead of indicating to take advantage of the likely fact that he will be let in, he slows, eventually to a stop, frets, panics, with his finger FUCKING HOVERiNG over the indicator. By the time he very ally presses it I want to cut his fingers off

Dontyoulovecalpol my dh does that too! I sit there seething indicate, indicate, indicate you absolute tool, then you might actually be let out. But no, apparently motorway users have Jedi mind powers of deduction.

HoneyDragon · 31/08/2016 19:11

If you lift and tie the bag with the flappy handle inside you can't remove the bag.

Soubriquet · 31/08/2016 19:13

But surely when you lift it, the handle comes up anyway so you can just slip the bag under it?

HoneyDragon · 31/08/2016 19:14

Not when you don't know it's there
