She's an excited, first time Mum. It's natural to think your baby is the best thing ever and for a lot of people all they talk about and post about in those first few weeks espically is the baby

Some people overshare on FB regardless, so when they then have a baby which people are actually interested in, the oversharing goes into meltdown. Sadly there is nothing you can do about it other than unfollow.

Or make some remark about "Thanks for that, was just about to have my lunch!" before doing so.

Reminds me of a long distant comedy sketch by Hale and Pace - the new parents couldn't stop discussing little Johnny's toilet habits (and anything else related to little Johnny) including telling the dinner hostess that the chocolate pudding reminded them of one of little Johnny's poos! That is a bit much, I unfollowed (or maybe unfriended) someone a few years ago because they put on a gushing post about their daughter finally doing a poo in the potty and praising her, saying now much she loved her and how proud she was.

I do think people need to seriously consider the ramifications of posting those kinds of pictures - as someone has already said, the Internet is forever (even if it gets deleted) and I really wouldn't be happy if i was a teen in however many years time and everyone had seen my childhood poop explosions.

I have a FB friend who has made a lot of references to her childrens' poo over the years, whether it's talking about tummy bugs, constipation or accidents. I know it's harmless but I do have to wonder who the hell she thinks cares or needs to hear about it. Yuck.
