AIBU to be furious...!?
I was out today with DS when I received a text to say that my parcel had been 'left in the garage'.
I thought it was strange as firstly, how would the courier get in the garage? Secondly, our garage door is electric and can only be opened from inside our home. Thinking it must be a mistake, I ignored it.
When I got home there was a slip through the door, stating that the parcel was indeed in the garage. Our garage is attached to our house and we have no internal door to it.
I pressed the internal button and heard an almighty crunch from the garage door! I headed outside and the door was hanging off! It had been prised up from the bottom (it can be pulled open approx 15cm) when I got on my hands and knees, low and behold, there was the parcel inside the garage! The parcel contained two baby dressing gowns so was fairly bulky but must have been squeezed under. Our garage has our fridge and pram in it (amongst other things!) and were not accessible.
DH came back from work and managed to get the door open so I could get inside but it is now half open and not secured.
The courier does not have a phone number (Hermes) and can only be contacted via online chat or email. I've contacted them to be told they will get back to me in 48 hours! I'm so angry! AIBU??
