AIBU?

To show OW what a cheating bar steward she has gained

Name change. ExP cheated on me, I kicked him out and he moved in with OW (it had been going on for two months). She's acted like a royal shit. She knew about me and our baby. I've seen an email from her to him advising him on how to get out of paying child support. She sent goading messages to me when I was at my lowest. Total bitch.

He's a bastard too. He cheated and he's went along with her shady behaviour. I am being civil with him because it's to my advantage to have a civil relationship.

Because he's a tool, he interprets my niceness as being potential to resume a sexual relationship.

They plan to get married early next year.

I'm tempted to record him and his advances and send her the material. Is that a terrible idea? I wouldn't let him go all the way. I just hate them so much I want to spoil their cosy delusional relationship.

I probably would but you'll get told to let her figure it out for herself. He sounds a compete cunt Flowers

Wait Til the wedding and have someone hack the slideshow they will no doubt have to show the recording

Or a wedding present of a teddy, when you press the belly the recording plays

If she hadn't rubbed it in your face then I'd say walk away with your head held high. But she started the emails, it's only fair you get the last word Grin

Oooh, I like the slide show hack idea!

Yes I had considered a video montage as a wedding present. Slideshow is genius.

Don't bother. It sounds annoying but be the bigger person
My ex was cheating scum, got with ow (not who he cheated with) and I tried to warn her , she was also doing all sorts of Gibbs like posting constant things with my dog saying her girl etc. I tried to warn her and she gave all the big talk saying she was different, sounded exactly like me when we got together
I know for a fact now hes cheated on her with an acquaintance (friend of a friend) and she has no idea, I just laugh at how naive she is and wait for it to all come crashing down, it's much more satisfying then drama, just concentrate on dc and yourself that's all that matters now

I wouldn't, he'll convince her that you lead him on before you started the recording and she'll believe him and think you want him back.
She's already worse of than you are, don't kick a dog when it's down. Have a heart Wink

I'm sure she'll find out eventually

They sound like they deserve each other tbh

Their delusional relationship has already been spoilt by him and he's clearly not that clever, so she'll figure it out eventually. Stay out of it and watch smugly when the shit hits the fan.

I expect she knows already given that he was in a relationship when he started seeing her

No, you'll regret it.

Stick to the moral high ground. You can cheerfully look down on them from up there.

If you are going to start doing this kind of thing you first need to learn to swear.

Bastard.

Not bar steward.

I'd record it then bribe someone at their wedding to swap it for her walking down the aisle music.

But I'm a vindictive bitch.

Yes the sensible part of me thinks it would make our co-parenting relationship awful. I'd be worried about the retaliation.

Lol yes I just saw a thread about swearing on mumsnet. I thought they would not allow a sweary subject. For the record bar steward = shitty fuckfaced worm of a man.

I'd do it.

Can't abide the be the bigger person/take the high road stance lol. I would get as much evidence as you can then let rip close to or just after the wedding if you can wait that long. Much more satisfying!

They asked for it.

Just after the wedding...first thing the day after.

If I just told her she wouldn't believe me. He begged me to let him come back - I told her after one of her shitty texts. She thinks I'm just making it up.

I'd say the very best revenge you could have on her is letting her marry him whilst quietly knowing he's trying the cheat on her before they've even made it up the aisle. He sounds like the worst sort of person to be married to, I'm sure she'll work that out for herself eventually

Don't do it op! I know its so tempting and you totally have the right to but trust me its not worth it!

It will come crashing down for her, we know that. The best way to get back at her is to live a fabulous life in spite of what he has done, all she has now is a cheating scumbag partner and the satisfaction that she has somehow 'won' don't give her the satisfaction!

If you do show her what he has been doing in some way he will only turn it around on you, and of they break up they will both blame you for it, not each other!

Remain totally innocent and enjoy the fun from the sidelines, you're free now, thats something to celebrate, it will be so much better when they do go tits up if you never got involved with it.

Here's to your awesome new life Wine

Sounds like she's welcome to him!

I can see why you would. I mean, I'd WANT to, but would be too scared of being painted as jealous/not over him/etc. Obviously not suggesting in the slightest you are- but they sound like nasty pieces of work anyway so I'm sure they'd be happy to spin a web of lies!
