Cheap digestive biscuits are no match for mcvities!

I may be a snob but I got some cheap digestives to make a biscuit base, I bought too many so as I haven't eaten today I thought I would have some with milk with them! The milk biscuit doesn't absorb the milk, or take some of the milky goodness. I'm more of a rich tea over digestive kinda person of the plain biscuit variety.

p.s having dinner around 10 fish and chips...any suggestions of a small meal/ snack to tide me over when there's nothing in the fridge?

Youve learned an important life lesson there. Never go own brand with digestives. Its not worth the emotional pain

It really isn't it's the first time in years we've had digestives and cold fresh milk in the fridge (usually store long life in the cupboard) and it's heartbreaking Sad

No other biscuits or cereal, I'm thinking a single poached egg or 2 on toast quick easy and not too bad

And this is gonna turn a bit ranty I feel, they didn't get the fish and chips as one of them felt queasy which is fair enough but they ate out and now they're saying its up to me what to get for dinner which is fine generally, but as they're feeling ill they don't want grease my food so that rules out most takeaway, and we've got nothing in the house, So it has to be takeaway so I have to choose and then put up with being told it made them feel worse etc.

And when I broach that them saying that fish and chips are too greasy for their stomach that leaves out pretty much all takeaways I get a huff and puff "it's not my fault I feel ill" which is true but it's the way it's said.

What makes it worse is I've had about 6 digestives today and I have issues which mean I'm not the most active and I spent 4 hours lifting and moving crap around the house which has made my hunger worse. And I'm not a friendly bear when I'm hungry
