This style vest suits me best but I have visible straps.
Can I get away with it?

I do every day...never even thought about it...

As long as my boobs don't flap out while I'm chasing the kids I'm happy.

Looks fine! I always have visible straps Smile

It does suit you. You look great. I don't like visible bra straps but they are at least in line with the top straps.

Of course! It's fine!

I'd avoid visible bra straps with a fancy dress for a wedding or something, but if the top is strappy itself you're always going to be able to see them unless you wear a strapless bra. It looks fine.

That looks fine.
But you need to take better care of your decolletage Smile

Thanks.
I pondered over saying how old I am but it shouldn't matter, should it?

What's up with my decola-whatnot AF?

I read in magazine bra straps are OK. Your straps are a lovely colour.

Sun damage. It's looking a bit patchy.

like mine

Get the high factor suncream on your upper chest. It'll start to fold up sooner than it should if you don't

Wow, you have an amazing figure!

I'm going to go against the grain though, and say that the top would look immeasurably better without the visible bra straps.

I suspect you would look great in anything, though. :)

I run a lot AF when I'm not bloody injured and am bad at protecting myself. I do try and remember but fear it may be a bit like shutting the stable door after the horse had pissed off.

I second the comment about your amazing figure! looks down dejectedly at Buddha belly

You do look great. Top looks fine. I show straps too but only if they are colourful/pretty - ie not the bra with slightly wash faded straps at the back of the drawer!
Agree ladies protect your decollete - thin skin easily damaged. I got caught out at a wedding in off the shoulder bridesmaid dress. Couldn't hide anywhere & got burnt. Now have permanently reddened skin😥

You look great!

The top may well look better without visible bra straps (everything does, IMO) but then you are into strapless contraptions that are OK for a formal occasion, but not practical or comfortable for every day. And that's a relaxed, every day, chase the kids top, right? So who cares about the nuances; comfort and practicality count.

I only wince when you see bra straps that are cutting into flesh, leaving a red bulge, wildly out of line with the top, black with a pale top etc.

And even then if the wearer is happy, so be i.

From this angle, it looks like you could get away with not wearing a bra, if avoiding visible bra straps is that important to you. Though I admit I wouldn't wear that kind of top without anything under it; too risky.

But I really don't care about visible bra straps. People around me all have them. It is the logical consequence of wearing a top with straps and a bra. No problem, really.

You could try sticking a bottle of factor 50 in one of your running shoes as a reminder? I use it (I keep it by the hall mirror) and I can't see any visible benefit. The only thing that keeps me slathering it on is the fear that I might look even worse if I don't.

You look fantastic. Aren't there vest tops with built-in bra thingies? I make my own clothes and just add one if I need to, but I'm sure I've seen this in bought clothes too. That said, I think your straps look fine.

I have micro norks, the bra is a t.shirt one so gives me a bit of shape and covers my nips. Happy to go bra less otherwise. Maybe I'll see what the MN jury thinks of bra less! Wait a mo...

No issue. I used to stress about it but then decided it was not worth it. Just wear what you're happy in.

The only straps which are banned - except I see them all the time - are the grubby shade of grey which used to be white.

I wish I looked so good in the summer here! I don't. But it doesn't stop me wearing vests like that, it gets too hot not to! All my bras are black though, so I have no compunction in letting the straps show.

I hope it's ok because I do the same. I don't like to show the back strap though so I won't wear low back tops.

My DDs do though and I think it looks fine on them .

Do it!
I wear strapless because I look better with no bra straps (I feel I looks but chubby)
But who cares, oh no o can see the support system that you choose to wear on your God given mamory glands you didn't actually choose to have
Wear a bra, don't wear a bra, hide it, show it, do whatever makes you comfortable

You look great! I think it's kind of old-fashioned to care about bra straps and that this look is a lot 'fresher' anyway.
