To have just drank a whole bottle of Sauvignon Blanc before 5pm...

on a Wednesday?!

My kids are away, I've taken a couple of days annual leave to get over a gum infection rather than be off sick and I'm home alone. I just watched the whole second series of Happy Valley, did no housework at all and drank a bottle of wine.

Is that bad?

Sounds like you're living the dream. Have you opened the second bottle yet?

Aren't you on antibiotics, though, if you've a gum infection?

Don't think it will aid your recovery much Confused

James Norton and a bottle of Sauv Blanc. Sounds like a pretty perfect afternoon.

If 1 is Special Brew on your cornflakes and 10 is wheatgrass smoothies and hot Yoga I would rate you at around 4.2 for that I think...

Indeed. It's easy to see why crazy Frances squirmed so much on her chair when she was sitting opposite him!

FauxFox I'm happy with that!

It feels really naughty and a bit alkie but I am usually at work full time and doing boring school runs on a Wednesday so it's like a holiday

I did manage to cook a nice cassoulet earlier but I just broke my masher trying to drunkenly crush the new potatoes Masterchef style (I have never "crushed" potatoes in my life)

First world problems much?! 😂

You mean, 'to have just drunk'

Rubbish grammar and you'll get fat

HTH
