I'm not linking because it makes people twitchy and it is a guilty habit but article in DM online today where a woman was breastfeeding her baby in the park when another woman asked her to move as she was "distracting her husband" Shock

So she told her to fuck off and squirted her with breastmilk!!

AIBU to blame MN as on every thread about BF someone says "I'd have aimed it at them" now someone did

Haha! Brilliant! Good on her! If she is distracting the poor perving husband, then she needs to give him a refresher course on the purpose of breasts and how staring is rude!

That's alright Grin
I've been caught out before

Well done that woman! Other woman needs to tell her husband to stop perving on a woman.

I read that and thought good on her!! Would LOVE to have seen the outraged woman's face.

More power to her, but officially, isn't it assault? Same as if you spat on someone?

Woman should never have said anything. Husband is clearly a perv, or overly curious (perhaps wife didn't/couldn't breastfeed or he never gets to see her naked??), and the person in question is without a doubt in the right here.

Someone on the comments said she should be done for sexual assault because it's a sexual bodily fluid.

I don't want to meet that person!

A sexual bodily fluid?!? Hmm WTAF?!?

I think it's likely that the squirting was accidental.

If the baby was distracted by the commotion and suddenly pulled off the breast mid-feed, then there could easily have been an uncontrolled spray of milk - and if complaining woman was standing in the wrong place, well, then she'd be squirted before the mum could do anything to stop it.

I was very Grin when I read this earlier.

In other news I have learnt two new things this week on mumsnet.

  1. Padded knickers are an actual thing Confused

  1. Some people consider breast milk to be a sexual bodily fluid HmmConfused

I need to understand padded knickers

I'd liken it to spitting at someone who pissed you off. The breastfeeding woman took the moral low ground, when she could undoubtedly have outwitted this ignorant pair in a more sophisticated way.

I thought exactly the same thing when I read that article Hobnails Grin

Or yes, it may have been entirely accidental, which is obviously fair enough.

Padded knickers are a fab idea when you're close to your period, but I think they're £15 a pair.
