I detest these emails/letters whatever they are with a passion and said so on another forum (year group forum) yesterday, it didn't go down well. If you think OPs example is bad I can raise you Worse! It's awful. It's worse that in my case they are being sent by women in their 40s. I can't quite decided wether the posters actually believe in the, or wether they just think they are funny either, I agree they should pelted with rotten fruit.

Indeed, but at least forwarding chain letters required some effort in copying - by hand in the really olden times - and the outlay on stationery and ten 2nd class stamps. I also preferred the explicit threats of misfortune and disease if you didn't comply.

^Coming from personal experience. To those who don't know the whole story. Until you have walked in our shoes and have felt the pain we feel, keep your cruel comments and opinions to yourself. Ignorant people can be so cruel!! I'm posting to stop people from mocking and laughing at people for things beyond their control... Not one of my Facebook friends will copy and paste (but I am counting on a true family member or friend to do it). If you would be there for me no matter what then copy and paste this. I'm doing this to prove a friend wrong that someone is always listening. I care. Hard to explain to someone who has no clue. It's a daily struggle being in pain or feeling sick on the inside while you look fine on the outside. Thankfully I don't get any email ones any more (wahoo!) but I still get tagged on lots on FB. Some of them do have a nice sentiment, and then follow up with the crap you must repost this and tag umpteen million friends to have good luck or you will have bad luck the rest of your life. And C&P, not share, you do this by holding down your finger on this post... blah blah blah. No I don't, because I use FB on my laptop, and last time I checked I had to use the mouse/keyboard, not a non-touch screen!
