Am I pregnant my period was on 31st may for four days. I had sex on 21st and 23rd June. I then bled for two days on 5th and 6th July - could this have been implantation bleeding. I will now be 8 weeks+3 if I am pregnant. Apetite gone and I feel sickly for most of the day although no actual sick. I have also bbeen wretching. Smells haven't seemed to bother me. I have been going to the loo a lot and getting VERY dizzy throughout the day. I have also turned quite paranoid and grumpy.. Going over the top and getting very upset and teary. Nipples are sore to touch but boobs are fine. Could I be pregnant?? Or am I just tricking myself ? I took a pregnancy test one week ago and got a bfn..... Is it possible that hcg is just not high enough to detect or........not??? Any answers /views will be appreciated.

If a pregnancy test is negative you are not pregnant. Sorry Flowers

Seriously? Go and take another pregnancy test! This is AIBU, not 'Psychics-R-Us'.

I'm under the impression that you can get false negatives just not false positives.
Go and buy another test. Good luck Smile

Implantation bleeding wouldn't be over two days - not from my experience anyway.

The only way of knowing if you are pregnant is to take a test. All the other stuff is irrelevant.

I hope you get the result you want and that you feel better soon.

The OP says she would be 8 weeks and 3 says pregnant if she were indeed pregnant, and got a negative test one week ago. You can show positive on a test 9 days after conception so the test would have been accurate one week ago and unfortunately it was negative.

All I know is directly you start concentrating on your menstrual cycle it will always whack out on you immediately. Best thing I did was stop testing for ovulation and stop timing sex and then I fell pregnant. Stress is not good for reproduction.

If you were eight weeks pregnant you'd get a strong positive pregnancy test. HCG levels would be very high indeed. So no, you are not pregnant.

If you took a test a week ago and it was negative then I'd say it's 99% sure that you're not. It's rare to get a false negative at 7+ weeks.

I always buy a double pack and test again a few days later.

Hi, I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right place so I'm sorry if I'm not! I was due my period on the 17/01/2017 however still has not made an appearance. I took a clear and simple pregnancy test which is attached below, it looked blurred to me however there was a distinct line there. I left and came back around 10-15 minutes later and checked it again and the line was gone! We're not trying at the moment so I'm not going be massively upset if I'm not pregnant, I just would like to know however and I'm too impatient to wait till tomorrow! If anyone has any insight that would be great? Thanks in advance :)

As the test appears there, I would say that's 75% likely to be positive but if as you say the line disappeared afterwards then I'm really on the fence about it. Could go either way. Positive pregnancy lines don't usually disappear 10-15 minutes after the test, if the control line has stayed in place. I've never known one to disappear after appearing and I've taken hundreds seen a few in my time...

Oh my response was to Chlo not OP - Chlo, posters usually start their own threads for their own queries. Just click on "start a new thread in this topic" at the top of the page, or go to Talk and pick a topic list and start a new thread in that.

Chlo your test is flooded meaning you've used too much urine or dipped it too deep, so it's inconclusive. Sorry but you'll need to do another test. You don't need to use first morning wee if you're six days late.

Conception is a better place to ask for pregnancy test advice because people tend to have a bit more patience for that kind of thing on there. The majority of MN posters are not TTC so have hidden the conception forum and you're likely to get short shrift here.

What is with all the bloody zombie threads lately? Do people not know how to use forums?

Thanks guys. Also don't understand where the need for rudeness is? I've literally just joined this to ask one question because I have no one to ask. Absolutely no need. It's a delightful to see that mums are so accepting and lovely toward other mums who are clearly confused about something!
