I used to hate it and think Peppa was a spoilt brat (still do a bit) but I find it really funny now. I think you can find adult humour in it too. And dp has agreed with me. In fact we were all laughing at it the other night.

I once sat and watched Peppa pig for over an hour after all kids left.

imo Ben and Holly is even better than Peppa for this, it still basically has Miss Rabbit but there is a bit more interplay between all the (flawed) adults too. ;-)

Ha ha Lasagna that made me laugh. I like Ben and Holly too. It's just my dd insists on Peppa more than anything else!

Poor daddy pig is so nagged. He needs to tell mummy to do one! It is quite representative of real life though. In a humourous way.

I like when Mr Fox or Mr Wolf pops up all creepily "Oh Helloooooo......"

Yeah - Ben and Holly is really good. Also quite keen on Hey Duggee; particularly the bubble one.

23 month old is obsessed by Peppa Pig and I actually enjoy watching it too. There's definitely some sarcastic humour in there. DS finds baby Alexander hilarious.

Love Ben and Holly. Favourite episode is where King Thistle doesn't want a birthday party so they throw one for Gaston the Ladybird instead.

I love it and Ben and holly both far superior to Dora. When they get bigger encourage them onto phineus and ferb. It's awesome

Hmmm..I say give it time.. once you find yourself watching the same episode for the fourth time, it starts to lose its appeal a little.

I do find myself repeating phrases from Peppa though. We walked passed some road workers and I found myself saying, "Let's dig up the road!" My niece thought it was funny but the workmen looked a bit wary. Grin

I love it. Favourite clip is from the one where she is trying to learn to whistle and rings Susie sheep only for Susie to say she can do it. Peppa hangs up. The look on her face is priceless 😄

Ha - I could give you word for word on the Christmas B&H ones because they come on first when you hit "play all"! Still preferable to the Kate and mim-mim super-rainbow-pink-and-girlie twaddle.

I love the episode where they go to Potato City, 'where the magic of vegetables never ends'!! Makes me laugh every time.

The theme tune is annoying though. Especially if you go to Peppa Pig World and have to listen to it All Bloody Day!!!

I've chuckled at PP. The episodes with baby Alexander are good. When daddy Pig suggests pushing him around the house to get him off to sleep and says '3 times was it?'
And mummy pig says '50.'

The Mr Potato ones are hilarious.

I do think Hey Duggee is the funniest one though. When they were all picking superhero names and one of them decided his superhero name would be.......STEPHENNNN!!! Grin

calmItKermit my favourite moment too :)
Took dd(2.5) to see the live show recently. It was awful :/

I prefer Ben and Holly too. Nanny Plum is such a sarcastic cow, it has me in stitches.
I second Anonymouses Phineas and Ferb is brilliant! Ahhh the theme song is in my head now. "There's 104 days of summer vacatiooooooon...." Grin

The live PP show isn't very good? I'm taking DD1 in August, gutted.

Harvey Beaks is hilarious too. It's on Nick Jr or one of those so hardly anyone else watches it. Sad

Its very knowing, lots of jokes about hipsters and steampunk. One of the characters is voiced by that bloke who played Douglas Reynholm in The IT Crowd. Matt Berry or something? I just have to hear his voice and I laugh.

Mine are growing out of PP and B&H now but I used to enjoy watching it - it's so much better than Paw Patrol with the annoying fake laughter. My favourite episode was the one where Big Bad Barry has eaten all the boats and King Thistle makes Mr. Elf take his new boat onto the lake. "It's mutiny. Mutiny on the Bunty!!"

I did that too, when they were doing some work outside the coop. The builders just looked at me like Hmm Confused Hmm Confused

Harvey Beaks is hilarious too.

^^ Agree with this, Princess is the best character, she's brilliant.

DS used to watch Peppa a lot when he was around 2 then he went off it for a bit but now has got back into it at 2.8 and now he 'gets' it a bit more. He also likes B&H (that's Ben and holly not benson and hedges) more now he's a bit older. Jelly floods used to scare him Hmm

YABU. Peppa is a spoilt little piggy. Ben and Holly on the other hand, is a work of pure genius. It doesn't get the recognition it deserves.
