...to ask about your husband or male partners pants???

Apologies in advance for the odd question....can anyone help with an ' argument between my husband and I??
He regularly has mysterious holes in his pants, which I ( jokingly, but half seriously if I'm honest) attribute to scratching and other unpleasant manly habits Blush....he insists it's the washing machine ( which manages to wash everything else without damage.....)
Am I the only woman who's other half has mysterious holey undies...is this a " thing??" Grin

It's a thing. Friction from jeans combined with sweat maybe?

I haven't got a man but my DS is 20 and has never had holes in his pants!

I've just asked DP, it's all down to Sac Chaffage. I thought he'd farted holes in them. Everyday is a school day😃

Crikey. OH is in the building trade and wears jeans, and doesn't have holes in his pants.

Unless he's secretly replacing them every week.

Sac chaffage? Nonsense. He just needs new pants. If this "chaffage" happens within a fairly short time frame, then he needs to buy a bigger size!

Does he smoke dope? Does he sit in his pants to smoke it? Could it be the ' fall out ' from the joint that has made the holes?

I've never seen DH or DS' underpants with holes.

It's bollock erosion. Imagine two pendulous orbs clad in sandpaper, scuffing back and forth against the gusset... FOREVER

Well how is he washing them? Jeans and other zipped up items need to be zipped up and turned inside out to avoid clicking clothes. Bras (which really shouldn't be put in the washer) not hooked up click on clothes.

Clothes need sorting before being flung around a machine at a rate of knotts.

Of course I'm predicting a slew of people who's clothes come floating out of the washing machine to tinkly music, no bobbles, still bright as the day it was bought and dry perfectly folded though.

Apparently it only happens to very old pants. Lifespan of pants is about 5-6 years before they self ventilate. Hth 😀

My pants don't end up holey u less their ancient, by which time I chuck them. But... I cpocpould totally understand friction between inner thigh, nuts, defrosted sausage etc.

Yep. Rubbing from denim. I had a pair of jeans that sandpapered away the crotch of the pants, so every pair of pants I'd worn with them looked like something out of Ann Summers*

*If Ann Summers sold decade old formerly white but now dishwater grey saggy pants.

I suppose it might be affected by how unsmooth of bollock the pant wearer is.

But yet, lots of women don't shave their bits and they wear jeans, and their pants don't look like loosely arranged pieces of knicker elastic around an exploded gusset.

Jesus, how tight are people's jeans? Shock

Thanks for the input. Husband mortified that I've asked the nation about his under crackers!

I regularly chuck out my DP's old undies which have seen better days. I imagine it's more like wear and tear on the seams of his jeans (which mine wears most days). he does also do a fair amount of ball juggling and scratching but I'm not sure it's vigorous enough to make holes

My boxers sometimes get holes in, especially the thin connecting part, that goes under my, ya know.

Not just one hole, usually, but a sort of worn out look. They get thinner and thinner, then one hole opens and theythey start to get ragged.

Thanks for the laughs - I was genuinely LOLing at some of these replies!

Certainly the OH's undercrackers (baggy Y fronts, mainly) seem to go into holes inordinately fast, but it's usually round the back...I just put it down to venting gas.

My DH has holey pants where his ball bag is Grin He has quite dangly big balls so I always put it down to the rubbing, chaffing, friction and the weight of hanging balls. I never think much of it though we do end up replacing his pants quite often Grin

Dh has bollock holes in his. They are nice Jersey boxers (CK) but he's prob been wearing them 15 years. Definitely not washing machine. Holes always by bollocks. Thing is, he still wears them around the house. I tickle his balls if I see them exposed through the holes!

I thought guys had holey pants because they just don't buy new ones very often. My dh finally replaced his very holey pants a couple of years ago they didn't wear out in any particular pattern, more just a gradual disintegration really Grin
