Umm yes so, had a thread that's kept me up. Anyone About? Will discuss anything!

Roundles Sun 17-Jul-16 02:34:39

Non film fans welcome. Also enjoy discussing craft, corbyn, music, shoes...

Hello! I'm in Australia so it's daytime here. 11.04am to be precise.

Was the call a worrying one? Or someone abroad?

PeacockPie Sun 17-Jul-16 02:36:18

I'm up... DH woke me to tell me he was hot confused and he's now drifting off again...

Roundles Sun 17-Jul-16 02:38:24

Gday! Not a phone call but a realisation call . Happy lunch time or brunch time to you. Any chat appreciated so what's up in your side of the planet? (thank you for responding)

Roundles Sun 17-Jul-16 02:39:09

Peacock are you lightly fanning him?

kellyb220982 Sun 17-Jul-16 02:39:25

I'm up, me and DH aren't speaking so I've gone to hide out in a Mcds and eat junk food rather than sit at home and cry! What's the last movie you saw at cinema?

Roundles Sun 17-Jul-16 02:40:36

A wake up call in the sense of 'omg, this is not right ' - relationship related.

PeacockPie Sun 17-Jul-16 02:41:26

I went and got him a glass of milk...! I'm such a wuss, anything for a quiet life (the ceiling fan was already on or he'd prob have asked for a fanning!) smile

Roundles Sun 17-Jul-16 02:42:58

I think it was the witches, which was a strange but beautifully shot film about a scary goat ! It was beautiful and very intense and scary, did you see it?

Roundles Sun 17-Jul-16 02:44:05

Urggh milk in the warm? Is that a good thing? Do you have one of those fab fridges that make ice?

VioletBam Sun 17-Jul-16 02:45:10

Hey OP, DH and I have the day off from the DC because their Gran has them!

We're going on a middle aged day out! Doing all the things we can't when they're with us. Antique shops, reclamation yards and the beach for a walk.

:D

PeacockPie Sun 17-Jul-16 02:46:06

He drank it quickly!! I covet those ice making fridges- but no room (or money) for them in our house!

Your film sounds very interesting- how was the goat scary? I'm rubbish with scary stuff!

Roundles Sun 17-Jul-16 02:46:26

kelly are you still in a Macdonald's? I'm being compassionate and worried but can you also bring me a burger?

PeacockPie Sun 17-Jul-16 02:47:35

Now I want a burger too- but also hope you're ok Kelly

Roundles Sun 17-Jul-16 02:49:58

voilet what a lovely day! Are you in the UK? It's meant to be no rain tomorrow. peacock it's set in post gold rush America, about a family with twin daughters and a scary goat, the idea being it's there religion that creates the fear (ithink) or Does It?

hollinhurst84 Sun 17-Jul-16 02:50:38

I'm at work smile hoping to get home soon though

PeacockPie Sun 17-Jul-16 02:51:07

I'm going to have to look that one up, I'm intrigued!

Roundles Sun 17-Jul-16 02:51:11

violet. Where is this beach and what is a recomondation yarn?

kellyb220982 Sun 17-Jul-16 02:52:37

Hey Roundles and Peacock best I can do is 4 cold chicken nuggets I couldn't face eating (I have had 5 nuggets, some fries and a choc milkshake!) currently watching the boy racers do donuts in the car park

WhatWouldLeslieKnopeDo Sun 17-Jul-16 02:52:44

What craft do you do OP? I like knitting and crochet.

I can't sleep. It's too hot and my mind is whirring away.

I love cold milk in hot weather.

I don't watch many films. I watch a lot of TV though! I can't even remember the last film I watched. I think it might've been the Hobbit ones. I didn't think they were as good as LOTR. Some bits were rather silly and the computer effects or whatever were quite gimmicky at times.

The last at the cinema was probably Mr Holmes, which was quite enjoyable.

Roundles Sun 17-Jul-16 02:52:45

The goat is called dark Philip and apparently hated the director and removes the muscle from the man who played the father

Roundles Sun 17-Jul-16 02:54:04

Omg Leslie you have the best user name

Roundles Sun 17-Jul-16 02:55:44

But to answer your question I am mostly embroidery and quilting, with dressmaking as a sidearm!

Roundles Sun 17-Jul-16 02:56:48

Leslie is the sun up where you are?
