There is definitely somethin about Robert Carlyle... He was particularly beautiful in Angela's Ashes (even as a misunderstood aloholic husband). The moment where he wiped the beer glass stain off the tiny coffin was so bittersweet. I know it's just a film but he plays certain characters so brilliantly and so sympathetically
