AIBU?

to think we can't have someone with such overplucked eyebrows as PM?

Come on Andrea, it's not the 90s any more. Seriously we could have the ubergroomed Hillary as US president. We can't have a PM looking like she's more suited to propping up the local golf club bar with her fifth double G&T of the evening.

(Quick breather to say fuck off Daily Mail to make the OP unquotable just in case they take it seriously).

Theresa with her killer cleavage and kitten heels would be much more stylish. Although I seem to remember some outlandish knitwear on more than one occasion.

Disclaimer: not in the least lighthearted.

La Thatcher was a bit high street, but used to rock a pussy bow, of course. And those handbags were legendary.

Oh shit, now you have mentioned it, I will never be able to look at her in the same light.
We are however meant to judge politicians on their politics.
So get ready for a lengthy bitch about looks and childbearing with little mention of political views.

Ah wonderful. Women politicians being judged by their grooming and fashion choices yet again. Could to see sexism alive and well

eyebrows have very little effect on women's ability to think or govern

the 1950's called OP - they would like their sexist opinions back

Not bothered in the slightest about her eyebrows. It's her politics that make me want to gip.

I'm so glad MN is taking this so seriously

Well it's as good a reason to not want someone to be the PM as 'he looks too silly eating a bacon sandwich' I suppose.

We need to see them both eat a burger.
I can't clearly remember the last time I saw a politician or political party say vote for me I am great because of x, y and z.
They normally just slag off the opposition for being too scruffy, too posh or weird eaters.

Good point Thora. Not to mention a marked resemblance to Gromit.

I'm genuinely excited that our next PM will be female, even though the candidates aren't necessarily my ideal.

It's bad enough when men carp on about crap like this

the question is, how do they clap?

if they do that weird ineffectual flapping, they aren't fit to hold public office

TM was rocking that zipped wrap dress the other day, so (flapping notwithstanding), she's got my vote

Hmm

Did you give any kind of fuck about david cameron's, gordon brown's, tony blair's, john major's eyebrows?

I don't think you can just go on eyebrows - how much foundation do they wear? Does it tone properly?

I don't want someone who does 'sculpting' as PM. Simply wouldn't do.

Also - how often do they get their hair done? Can't be showing any roots.

These are important issues for the PM (or any minister).

Remember Dennis Healey though. His eyebrows were quite concerning
