I made a genuine booking mistake last night but didn't panic as the FAQ said that this would be covered by the 24hr grace period if you get in touch.
Since then, I have tried:
- web chat: seemed down last night, blocked at my work, and not working from my phone
- contact form: eventually "worked" after many attempts, no response to my appeal to call me
- call centre: I have been on hold all day, got through once and when I'd picked the new flights and went to pay difference, he put me on hold and hung up on me.
This 24hr grace period thing - it's a con, right? I feel I have been robbed to the tune of £400.
Do I have any comeback on PayPal?
