to stop breastfeeding?

Hi... My son is 3 months old, he is in the 0 percentile. I breastfeed. My HV says that I shouldn't add in a bottle and that I should just work harder at it. I'm honestly already trying really hard. Doctor says that I should just add in a bottle. What would you do? I don't want to fail him :'(
