To think GoT trumps football tonight?

I already have to ignore the Internet all day on a Monday as Game of Thrones airs in the middle of Sunday night and I have ds4 with me all day.

DH got home a minute ago and I said, oooh Game of Thrones tonight! He said, yeah, after the football.

That won't finish until gone ten. I'll be asleep by then!

WIBU to make him watch the football on the laptop in another room so I can catch up with GoT as soon as ds2 is in bed?

Yanbu. Its ep 9 so should be the big battle. Only one left than a years wait!

I'm off sick this afternoon and GoT is sat on the skybox twinkling at me as there is nothing on TV and i feel awful! My hubby is out until at least 9pm and I am knackered... I know what I want to do and I know what I should do... I feel your pain

That's exactly what I'm doing. He had the audacity to try and make me feel bad that I'd be making him miss GoT and that I should wait until the game was over! Unlikely pal.

Sofa to myself and a glass of wine. Might start wishing there was football on every week

You're lucky you can watch it. Me and my partner moved house on Friday and the Sky TV man isn't coming until Wednesday...grrrr!

Monday is the night I have to go straight to bed and sit on the ipad up there because GoT is on and DHs friends come over to watch it and I really dislike one of them

Unfortunately they still come over when GoT isn't on.
Aaaaand I have to record Sewing Bee and watch it on Tuesday nights

We are starting GOT, watching half the football and going back to GOT during half time then back to footie unless footie too depressing by then. Then GOT. Not happy about it but we have an enormous HD TV which is the only TV we can watch GOT on and I think it's U to ask him to watch footie on laptop/similar rather than the big TV. Plus we like watching GOT together. Am working on persuading him to watch footie on catch up after GOT. Not hopeful.

IMO everything trumps football. DD and I were disappointed to miss Casualty on Saturday, because football had replaced it.

Being repeatedly kicked in the balls trumps football, I have never understood the appeal.

Read a GOT spoiler by accident earlier, I'm fucking raging.

Anything at all trumps football. Sack the football (c'mon now we all know how it's going to go ) and watch Got, it's a good un.

My only other option (as there's no way I'll still be awake to watch it after the football) is to watch it tomorrow afternoon. That's just not happening.

He'll have to watch football in the kitchen.

There is no episode of any drama series ever that trumps a live England match in our house, luckily we are all in total agreement about this.

Watch it now - put DCs out in the garden. I gave myself an hour off at lunchtime and watched because I couldn't wait....
