I. Am. Tired.

Utterly Exhausted. Knackered. Hanging. Weary.

I am more tired than everyone.

Please give me sympathy and understanding and a little bit of competitive tiredness wouldn't be inappropriate.

TheWizardOfOs Sun 19-Jun-16 09:01:56

Op, in the nicest possible way, you cannot possibly be more tired than me!
Haven't had an unbroken night in years and I have a cold.
I need brew brew brew
You can have some too and we can compare the big grey areas under our eyes.

TheWizardOfOs Sun 19-Jun-16 09:04:13

I'm going to sleep now. I predict I'll be awake in about 2 hours. I'll feel fabulous for about 16 seconds and then feel tired again.

chocolate to keep the tired people going

Well, you simply cannot be more exhausted than my dh, who kindly explains to me most mornings that he didn't sleep a wink. I fucking know he got a wank as I listened to him snore the entire fucking night. NO WINKS, my ass...

TheoriginalLEM Sun 19-Jun-16 09:12:25

He shouldn't have beem wanking then he might have got some winks

Oysterbabe Sun 19-Jun-16 09:12:57

We'll it does help you relax I guess..

KayTee87 Sun 19-Jun-16 09:12:59

Definitely not more tired than me sad 35 weeks pregnant and haven't finished work yet. EVERYTHING hurts!

Tbf I hate it when people do the competitive tiredness thing (when they're being serious) a friend of mine tells people that don't have children that they can't possibly be tired (doesn't take into account illness, work schedule, disabled family to look after etc etc) makes her sound like a knob. I have vowed I won't become one of those parents.

HerRoyalFattyness Sun 19-Jun-16 09:14:14

Oysterbabe Sun 19-Jun-16 09:14:40

Oh you will Kay.
I'm the most tired, I haven't slept since about 3 months before DD was born 6 months ago.

DH is night shift this week. DS has had a virus all week so been up multiple times every night. Yesterday I dropped DS at DM's so DH could rest while I worked a long shift. Got home & DH left immediately to go to work. House a fucking shit tip mess, dirty dishes & lego everywhere, bins overflowing. DH hadn't bothered to give DS dinner so sorted that, put him to bed. Cleaned kitchen & living room. Thought I'd leave the rest for today. Got into bed knackered & DS woke up with projectile D&V, most unwell he's ever been, so horrible. DH home early hours, slept in spare room while I shared with ill & unhappy toddler. DS woke up before 7am, put laundry on (lots of it because of last night's escapades) & we are up & out of the house so DH has quiet to sleep. Oh & in laws are coming over later. Do I win?

KayTee87 Sun 19-Jun-16 09:16:35

Haha oyster what about someone who has a 7 month old - surely they must be even more tired wink

HerRoyalFattyness Sun 19-Jun-16 09:17:10

My 7 year old still wakes in the night...
he knows it isn't time to get up so leaves me alone though
My 10 month old doesn't sleep. At all.
My 2 year old is very clever and likes her sleep.

TheWizardOfOs Sun 19-Jun-16 14:52:26

I'm still tired but less so. brew for all the poor tired people.

LOL you have no idea.

3 week old DD feeding around the clock and toddler awake from 5:45.

Today I'm tired.

EveryoneElsie Sun 19-Jun-16 15:04:44

I gained the superpower of being able to sleep anywhere, at any time, for any length of time.

You will too when you reach the stage where you were as tired as I was.

underrugsswept Sun 19-Jun-16 15:06:32

Can I snuggle down under a blanket with you OP? I have a toddler who is my little shadow and consistently gets up at 5.20am then clambers all over me the whole day long. The days he's in nursery I have a 1hr 20 min commute to work so leave home at the crack of dawn. I'm also 14 weeks pregnant and not over the 'please let me sleep all day' phase yet.

Last night I fell asleep on the sofa at 9, had my one lie in on the week until 7.30 and have just had a nap for an hour. Is it bedtime yet?

poocatcherchampion Sun 19-Jun-16 15:08:00

I'm so tired I sleep in the bath.

But I must go, I'm having a nap today!

Tiredofsummer Sun 19-Jun-16 15:10:02

Haven't had a proper nights sleep in over two years and I stupidly drank too much this weekend and have still only had 3 hours I'm more tired then everyone sad

GiraffesAndButterflies Sun 19-Jun-16 15:10:08

I actually had a half decent night's sleep for a change (4mo DS usually puts paid to that) and I haven't done anything particularly strenuous today.

I AM STILL TIRED. Tireder than all of you put together. So ner. 😴

MaddyHatter Sun 19-Jun-16 15:11:46

Hes' nearly 10.

<falls over> wink
