AIBU?

AIBU to book into hotel at 9 months pregnant?

House is being worked on by chump builder, who has already take double the time quoted. Tomorrow is the last day, he has colleagues giving him a hand to finish. They are starting at 8am and planning to finish by 6pm. They play music, and always vape, which annoys me anyway. Husband swans of to work without a backward glance. Consultant told me to rest as baby very small and signs of pre eclampsia. Should I just book into a hotel and spend the day with my feet up?

To be clear they are working on every room in the house, so no where to hide!

Do you have any friend or family member you could spend the day with?

Off you go. I'd make it two nights myself.

I do have family up the road. But my mum is a miserable old goat. Besides I think I just want to sleep! Might not even tell arse husband I've gone. Might be a tad hormonal!

Definitely do it. Especially one with a lovely restaurant for lunch and possibly a pool, or at least a nice bath.
