Now have a very large bruise on my left bum cheek and it hurts to sit down! Can I punish the stairs by putting the house on the market tomorrow morning and buying a bungalow?

Shame you didn't do it a couple of weeks ago, when I slipped going over a stile, and my right arse cheek slammed hard down on a square sectioned fence post. It was entirely purple for over a fortnight. We'd have had matching bruised bum cheeks together.

I fucking hate stairs and fall up/down them frequently as I'm clumsy.

So god knows why I've just bought a three storey house...

I did that a month ago. My arse was a sight to behold. I resisted the urge to Facebook it....

Hope you feel better soon. It took about 3 weeks before I could run without pain.

I fall up & down stairs constantly - highly embarrassing. At least it's just a bruise & no broken bones!

Sympathies op Flowers

My very tall and very large dh once fell down the stairs in our very small house and landed on our dd's lightweight pushchair which was in our hallway at the bottom of the stairs. Destroyed it he did. Couldn't be straightened out. We had to buy a new one!

Oh well, at least you didn't break your leg in 3 places, and end up with 2 plates and 19 screws in your leg like I did.

Stairs are my enemy Hmm

So glad I'm not alone in being ridiculously clumsy. Today's punishment is an hour of boogie babies with the 8mo!! then home for some bungalow searching on rightmove Wink

Ooh OP, that sounds painful. I managed to drop dressing table stool on my foot this morning as my bra gat caught over the edge of it and flipped it over. I have the biggest fucker of a bruise on top of my foot. I am going to a posh do wearing sandals on Friday. I will need to put foundation on it to hide it!

My cousin broke her back falling down the stairs. Shock

I think ours are a bit safer, as they curve round in a sort of long "C" shape, so you can't really fall hard down them, just tumble along until you reach the bottom iyswim.
