It's a rhetorical question really because I know I'm not being unreasonable.

It was all of you lot who were moaning it's too hot, too sticky, too sweaty etc etc.

Well the sun heard you and got offended and now it's gone into hiding!! It's fucking pissing it down!! And bloody cold! And it's June! We had one lovely warm, sunny week, that was it!! What the hell!! I've just started trying to finally sort the garden out and now it's too horrible outside to enjoy it!

You better hope that it comes back or there will be heck to pay.

Angry Sad

(PS: Just in case anyone gets offended, this is a lighthearted thread Grin)

Agree! It gets above 20 degrees for about 3 days and all the summer hating moaners come out. Seem to forget they get their cold drizzly horrid weather for 90% of the year..

Typically we are back to pissing down rain and staying indoors. Grrr.

I suffer with hayfever. This rain suits me fine. Smile

I'm not anti Summer and sunshine, just anti humidity...I can't stand it, although I've never moaned about humidity on here so don't go blaming me! You'll get your revenge when we have a mild December and I'll want it to SNOW!

Sorry, I hate hot weather. It's all my fault for moaning last week. Grin

It's actually my fault, I bought a new paddling pool, sunglasses and a few items of what could be described as summer clothes.

I just knew the sun would piss off within a few days of doing that.

I take full responsibility and glory in beautiful drizzle and lack of heat. I'm a skipping grinning fool of the Cool weather Grin

Yes Jenny, yes it is. At least you can own up to your mistake though Grin

Teddy, doesn't matter if you expressed your anti summer sentiments not on MN, I'm afraid, the sun is obviously very sensitive.

I know delatron!! Why can't they just deal with the sunny weather for the few weeks/days/hours it's around, it'll be cold and wet again eventually, probably very soon! Whereas we summer lovers might not see the sun again for months *cries at the fog and rain outside the window.

I have a whole wardrobe drawer full of floaty summer dresses to wear that are destined to stay unworn at this rate Sad

My fault entirely. Sorry. Just replaced the grill and tray in the barbecue and the weather changed before I had chance to use it. Apologies.
I will go out tomorrow and buy a sledge hammer and destroy the entire structure. Promise.

There's a line though cooking. A line. Drizzle is one thing, full on rain, fog and howling winds is another.

You can't blame yourself myself, I too unpacked my sunglasses and got my vest tops out of the Vacumn bag. I am part of the problem Sad

I take full responsibility - put the summer weight duvet on, set up the garden furniture, filled the freezer with ice-cream and ordered new sandals.

It's actually all my fault...I was busy summerising the house over the weekend. Putting the summer quilts on all the beds, and the summer cushions on the sofas (yes, I have summer cushions, okay, and bought some summery scented candles...and within 12 hours it started pissing down, and hasn't stopped since Angry

Look on the bright side Rooster, you can drown your sorrows in ice cream and Queen, at least your house will look lovely and summery inside even if it isn't summery on the outside!

On reflection, I am prepared to take one for the team, and laboriously unpack all our Winter clothes and put the Winter quilts back on, in order to guarantee sultry summer sunshine by breakfast tomorrow [sighs...trudges into spare room to start unpacking suitcases under the bed).

I think it's for the best Queen. Fortunately I only opened the Vacumn bag but didn't unpack it so I can just reseal it and hopefully that will help Grin

No, I'm not anti Summer (really!) just anti humidity, I do like Summer but it was still quite bloody humid where I am, (South coast) no sun though, but yes you're right, I think Mr Sun is a mind reader and has got really offended and buggered off somewhere where he's appreciated! Where do you live OP?

I now have an urge for summer cushions and summery scented candles. I love summer and the sun and really hope the sun comes back soon especially since there's no sunny holiday escape this year.

To be completely honest, I knew I was dicing with death when I briefly glanced at some sparkly flip flops in TK Maxx at the end of last week. It was only a matter of time...

I looked up some 'jazz up your picnic' type recipes, since we are confessing things.
That may have been the tipping point.
