Shameless posting for traffic but does anyone know where I can get a waterproof coat for a small dog that covers paws too? Do they exist? Going on holiday and don't want to leave paw marks on their carpets etc

You can get dog wellies. no idea how effective they are.
Saw someone on a to show out wellies on their dog so I don't know where the come from but probably better than an entire body suit

I think dogs sweat through their paws so having them covered in plastic would probably make them overheat, so for that reason I don't think such a thing would exist. Towel drying the dog off before he goes into the house should be fine i would imagine Smile

I've never seen one that covers paws but my ddog used to have one that went right under her chest and tummy and stopped her underneath getting wet. She was a very old dog and had very thick fur so took forever to dry if she got wet.

Not sure whether they do paw-covering suits, but I really rate hurtta.

Doesn't the OP mean dog will wear coat outside so that when dog comes in, coat can come off and dog won't leave filth everywhere?

Although lol at indoor dog overalls Smile

I'm sure you can get paw covers. I know of someone who had a boxer that was allergic to grass so they had to wear them to go out for a wee. Could you put them on to protect the carpet? It'd give the dog something to chew off in the evening. Grin
