If I restore factory settings will it fix it? And if I do do I need to take the sim out? Please help. I'm so scared ill go in thethe nenext few days won't be able to get help. Thanks and sorry for being in wrong topic.

Have you done the reset thing where you hold the power and home button at the same time for 10 seconds? Works when mine freezes and fannies about.

You need a teenager to come and sort you out. I've got three and could send one round to help!

Yes! I've been doing it for weeks and now it's totally gone. I'm really starting to panic.

I'll have my own in 13 years but need one now! Can't believe how stupid I've been and not done this sooner.

Try-

Whilst the phone is on charge, hold down the home and lock button together for 30 seconds. It should reboot! x

Or hold them down until you see the apple logo should be about 30 secs

Thank you but I've tried all the holding down buttons choices! Think I need to reboot to see if that works. If I restore factory settings do I need to remove the sim?

LouBlue1507 Fri 03-Jun-16 23:06:03

Did you try it whilst it was on charge?

leedspirate Fri 03-Jun-16 23:07:47

I'll try that now

leedspirate Fri 03-Jun-16 23:09:53

It now has a screen I've never seen before! The charger symbol going into iTunes symbol

LouBlue1507 Fri 03-Jun-16 23:11:31

I've never seen that before! Try again! Make sure it's charging via a socket not laptop? C

leedspirate Fri 03-Jun-16 23:11:50

Nope. That didn't work. Thanks though

It's wanting to re-synch via iTunes on a desktop. Do you have iTunes on a computer or laptop? If so then plug it in to there and synch, that may help

Plug in into iTunes and restore from there. Happened to me st similar stage in pregnancy too! I got a spare Windows phone grin

Restoring factory settings will help if it's an issue with the software (either operating system or an installed app), if not it's a hardware issue, but definitely worth a try if you can get to that stage. You can factory reset without removing sim.

Failing that a complete reset may be best as you have suggested. You won't need to remove SIM card, though I would write down important numbers in case, you shouldn't lose any but it's not worth taking the risk

Post this on yahoo answers.

Thank you! Going to try factory settings. You lot are awesome. I'll keep you updated about phone and baby!

leedspirate Fri 03-Jun-16 23:27:05

Oh. Just realised I can't do factory settings because the phone is frozen!! Fuck!!!!!

lamusic Fri 03-Jun-16 23:36:59

The plug into iTunes symbol means it needs to be connected to iTunes

lamusic Fri 03-Jun-16 23:38:23

Plug your phone into iTunes
Back it up
Then (if poss) click 'restore iPhone to factory settings (on your computer) and it should work!
Fingers crossed! smile
