Would IBU to remove the gas cannister and let her fence panel break

Ndn had a 6 foot fence put up between our gardens a few years ago, from the start you could see it was a bodge job but not my fence so not my business, It was ok for a while but in bad winds last year the fence panel closest to our houses came away from the 2nd post and was hanging in my garden,

Ndn didn't seem to notice so I put a large gas cannister that i use for my bbq aginst the fence so it didn't break completley, I knocked next door and informed her and a week or so later another neighbour (local handyman) fixed it for her.

Back to now, The fence panel has gone again at the other end , (fence post closest to the houses) This happened a few weeks ago, luckily the gas cannister was still there so panel hasn't come down completely, Again she hasn't noticed, although how she hasn't heard the constant banging of the fence panel against the cannister I will never know,

I have knocked several times when I know someone is home but no answer, The banging is doing my head in, If she at least acknowleged it I could probably put up with it untill she was able to get it sorted but her just ignoring it really pisses me off and I know if I remove the only thing that is holding it up at the moment (gas cannister) I will end up with the fence panel in my garden, It will cost her alot more to get fixed, which I don't want, But I am really fed up with it,

Came so close earlier to moving the gas cannister after I again knocked next door but they didnt answer, I know they are home, can hear through the wall,

So do I move the cannister or not?

I'd pop a note through the door. If no response in a week, I'd move it, if only because repetitive noises drive me insane, and I would not be able to cope with monotonous banging.

Just move it, let the fence break, then go round after a day to point it out as being a nuisance to you.
You've been more than fair.

Move the canister and when the panel falls just slide it onto your ndn side, let them sort it out.

Try again and put a note through, saying you're likely to have a BBQ next weekend, or the banging is disturbing you.

I wouldn't bother with notes, op has tried numerous times knocking, why would ndn then respond to a note?

I have just put a note through asking if they realise that the panel has come away and at the moment only the cannister is holding it up which is going to be removed this week as I have the week off work and intend on doing some work to the garden (this is true),

Will see if they do anything,
