After the household crap that brings you joy thread enlightening me to things like sparkly streak free windows with window vacuums! I want to know what brings you joy out of your daily grooming routine?

Here's mine:

  1. Using a hairdryer for 5 secs to heat handheld eyelash curlers and curl lashes coated in clear mascara before applying regular mascara

  1. Blow drying fringe in the opposite direction to where I want it to fall before gently brushing it how it should fall

  1. Using nail scissors to trim eyebrows Grin

These were all revelations Smile

Brylcreem is mine. Much better than any wax or gel I've tried, and cheaper.

When you look in the mirror squint a bit so your image is blurred. This hides many imperfections.

Instead of changing out of dirty clothes, just dab discreetly at any stains with a baby wipe.

Buy clothes that don't need ironing. If you accidentally buy something that does need ironing, don't.

If pushed for time, blow dry fringe/front of hair only. Spray through conditioner to rest of bouffe and channel the big hair look.

Don't ever shave underarms, legs or tend to ones fouf. Then when you do it counts as 'making an effort' for ones yearly date night and your other half will definitely notice appreciate it.

Also, be so disorganised with laundry that certain items of clothing go into permafrost in the wash basket. When you do get round to washing them, voila! A (nearly) new outfit. New to you anyway.
